  4. how about in front of the v8? you can mount the engine close to the firewall.. you can add a duct similar to what the "v-mount" cars are using. the turbo would be in front of the engine.. lots of room!
  5. you can rotate the compressor housing downward and route the piping under the engine. few people on this forum routed the piping like that I know if you have a rear or mid sump oil pan its easy to route.

  7. yep my 300hp Z kicks ass.. ive only lost against a 650whp talon with a 150 shot of spray. Scares me enough.

I mean the Subaru WRX's have a flat four.. and sound like harleys! probably because of the LL RR firing order or something. I guess this is also the design of the crankshaft as well? Thinking about it.. I guess a Subaru and Porsche sound wicked different.. but the Porsche has a HO6 versus a HO4

  13. LOL trust me I have been talking to my manager like crazy trying to find out more information DRsideways good call on the flat configuration! My manager mentioned it was a V12 layout.. so he probably mixed up the name of the Ferrari or the owner paid alot of money to get it done and didnt know what he was talking about Either way I am a bit skeptical.. but if you are on this board show us pictures!! I want to see this!!!

I work at Home Depot while im in school.. and my manager happens to own a 240z thats fairly modded so we talk all day.. anyway.. my boss ran into a purple 240z with a Ferrari 512 V12 powerplant off chambers and quincy road. I've yet to see a Z with a Ferrari motor.. but OMG The guy owned a Ferrari 512.. and his wife wrecked it. He was able to salvage the motor and decided a Z was the most interesting car to put it in. I cant write worth poop.. but holy crap.. i had to share
  15. max G's ive seen was 12 G's in Australia but rio de janeiro (i cant spell) was 10.3 G's 4g's on average will knock an untrained pilot out in 5-10 seconds

  18. it did get a little hot and i would see smoke.. but i had a hose i would just spray on the mount to cool down. it works so thats all i care about lol

  22. I just removed the rivets on the front. Im at the point where I really dont care much. Looks good from 10 feet away. lol as long as I am ahead of the component life is good. its just aesthetics
