I would start by searching and it is most likely that since you removed the alarm it went into some mode that will allow it not to start. But don't quote me, search for yourself.

I wish I had thought of that three years ago when I bought my first Z, that is very true I bought mine for $350 and it was a Missouri car so it was full of rust. Just recently I bought a second one for $350 and its pretty rust free and all it needs is an engine so now for 700 I have two cars to make one good one. Three years and I still haven't driven a Z on a road but hopefully soon. Your lucky to have experienced Z guys to talk to that live near by, I never had that convenience.

Go to the drop down menu on your username up in the top right corner. In there you will find my settings, click that then it will take you to a page with 7 tabs. You will want to click on the one that says Forum and then below it there should be a list of things, Select Manage Watched Topics. After you click on Manage Watched Topics it show a list of all the threads you have posted in and what specific forum they're in. Sadly there is no quick button like in the old software.

Looks like a really good starter Z and I love how you set up your plans, I'm 17 and I'm hoping to have my car on the road this summer nothing special not even going turbo I will probably go with something special but thats a secret. Your going to get all the chicks with that car haha good luck.

Hey I saw that Datsun on denver craigslist about a year ago, it was pretty cool. If I remember it was selling for around 10 grand.

Well the Admins can see someones IP address so if he does make a new account regardless of his name, the will still be able to recognize him by his IP address, but I think they ban someone by their IP address so that can't make another account unless they totally changed their internet service and location. /Thread jack

Are you talking about a S30,S130,Z31,Z32 etc. Because I'm sure it would help to know what car your talking about.

Are you absolutely sure you did the maxi fuse upgrade right? and did you follow the atlanticZcar instructions? If it was wrong that could cause some problems because that controls your ignition also you need Power going to the Maxi fuse box. Your starter relay may have gone out also I had that problem with my 75 Z, it was a relay under the dash the car would crank and crank but wouldn't start. I'm not sure if you mean by the starter spinning but not turning the engine over or it won't start.

You need to take a day and read through the EFI bible and go over how it all works and then the next day Go look over your car while referring to the EFI bible. Test everything even if you don't think it is important it will save you grief later, and once you establish what is wrong replace it if you need too don't rush take your time. If have any questions after reading the EFI bible just come back here and ask and we will do what we can. EDIT: Misinformation about the Thermotime switch, Didn't notice it was a turbo.

+1 on that, I think they are conspiring to turn us over to the Dark side of the Z force haha.

I have heard some sticking issues with the maxima calipers so I went with the 240sx calipers. I bought almost everything I needed for my rear disk brake upgrade for about 70 bucks from the junkyard. So that included the 300zx rotors and the 240sx calipers (came from a 91' I think) If you search you will find what you need for that. And for this upgrade you can get the brackets for 165 for both from Modernmotorsports. MM also has the E-brake adaptor but I'm sure you could make that yourself very easy. There are some differences between the early Z's but I am not exactly sure, you may want to search that or wait for a more experienced Z guy to chim in.

Well in no way am I questioning your knowledge on the subject, I'm just pointing out the fact that the OP wanted a custom set if that is even possible. If it was I'm sure it would be very expensive.

I think this is the part in his message that explains the point how he will get 17" Watanabe R-Types, If it is possible to custom order. Personally I would save myself the hassle and just buy the Rota RB or RB-R's from the group buy because the come in the correct offset, are 17", and Look similar to the R-Type but more of a flat lip. http://www.forumshawaii.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=6438082 Found this also they aren't R-Type but they are 8 Spoke.

Haha wow I thought that dash was brown but I guess I was mistaken, Nice find looks like it should be a nice project. Girlfriends that loan money are the best.

Just edit your post and split it into sections and capitalize and use more periods. Its sort of difficult to read that and I'm sure more people will be willing to help if they can understand it better.

I don't think it would work at all if it had been changed. People sometimes think that because each side looks different but thats the way it is from factory. Take some pictures for us so we can see, it may just be a misunderstanding. Edit: If your talking about the part that the sway bar end links attach too, the flat piece of metal that it attaches too is supposed to have one on top and one on the bottom. On the driver side the "flat piece" is on top and the passenger side the "flat piece" is on the bottom.
