Hi, i hope this is the right place for this topic. I need "new" trim for the mirror's on both my S130's but can't seem to find them at all. I went to Nissan and they can't get them for me. I was hoping "MSA" would have them but didn't find them. So then i surch for them and no luck, maby im not looking in the right place, so any idea's or pointer's would be nice. Again this is the "rubber trim" or "weather striping" if you will, that goes between the door and the mirror. Thank's.

Surched around for related cases but nothing helpfull. Some history to start with, 1981 280zx 189,000 miles was sitting for 4 year's, changed all the fluids. This is what I have done sence I got it back from the bodyshop and have started to drive it. Changed the injectiors and injectior pluges (MSA), pallnet fuel rail, spark plug wire's (NGK), and spark plug's (NGK-R), All vacum hose's replaced. At idle the car seem's to have a miss I can hear it and see the RPM guage ticking up and down a little, I checked the spark plug's (80 miles on them) they seem fine. The reson I changed the spark plug's is becuase the old ones fouled out after about 20 miles. Any idea's or pointer's?

What Wheels and tires are those and are they a 4 lug or 5 lug?

Could be your valve stems....my 83 leakes oil out of 2 and 5. but the car has no miss, black smoke only at 5,500 to 6,000 RPM rang and all the power in the world to give me at all RPM's.

Were can i find information on how many 240z's-280z's, and 280zx's were made. Like, black-gold, black-red, and any other spec colors or limited models. Surched for it over google but nothing. Thank's. Chris M.

Sorry, im dropping the trany out of a 280zx...didnt clear that up in my last post. Thanks for the feed back the trany is out. Broke 3 bolts, but taped them out and replace every bolt i took out with new.

So, what is the best and fastest way to get the trany off the drive shaft? seems that the cat will need to come off or the the control arms...i have the car in the air and need to get it done and i can't seem to get the drive shaft off..... any pointers?

So, i have a 81 280zx, and a 83 280zx. The 81 has the gear box for its power steering, and the 83 har rack. Let me tell you......i cant really see or tell the diffrence in the car's. {before either one had mods} But if you sill want to do this swap, i know of a guy in houston,TX who has 4 Rack's for sale. 200.00 + shipping an there used.
