  1. Im working on the 240z 72' and the stock tails need to be either replaced or swapped to something else. Id rather not buy a stock set of tails when I have a pair of r32 tails just sitting around. Ive seen a pair of nissan r32 2 door tails fabricated in the back of a 280zx and thought maybe they'd look good on the 240z as well. I'd offset the tails just like an r34's. I do alot of custom work so converting something should be to big of a deal. Your thoughts on these tails or others that could be used would be great, thanx. The back end
  2. Havent seen it yet, plan to once the crave dies down some
  3. I have an 81' if it will work for you. P/M if still intrested.
  4. What year z? I have a 280zx that I could cut the quarters, need a tad bit of work to be fully straight but workable
  5. Keep your head up, things always seem to happen like that dont they?? Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do but just try you're best thats all you need to do. Sorry for the rhyme...
  6. Reading through all the posts, good advice these people have. It seems you dont want to step on anyones toes but honestly its your car, your want of a color, your money to spend so do what makes you happy and if it bothers someone else that you have a same color then screw it. Cant make everyone happy
  7. WOW pretty expensive stuff right there.

  10. Thats alot of blue but looks real nice in the motor bay!
  11. Should be 4 12mm bolts, do not know the thread pitch tho. If you need them I have a set.
  12. G/L Sir, post up some photos once you complete it.
  13. Wondering as well, does look like a tow-hook tho
  14. Yes, Ive pulled plenty of motors and never really had an issue. Just make sure to check the tranny from hitting or catching up on lines and whatnot. I just had the car up off the ground to remove clutch slave-exhuast-drivesaft-tranny plate then hooked at plate and thats pretty much it. You will know instantly if theres an issue. BTW looks crazy huh? lol
  15. Yeah, I just used the one on the front, had no issues at all
  16. If he did he can just drill a small hole so it could drip again no?
  17. For the front the tow hooks will do. For the rear its usually the diff. Then jack stands under the subframes.
  18. Thats been done before but I totally wouldnt trust it even tho I saw in person one time a rear frame on a mini truck done just like that and the fellow drove the truck everywhere. I'll have to dig through a cd rom and find the photo.
