  1. oooooh your a bad man! Can't wait to see how it goes. Evan
  2. My apologies, I took that totally out of context and have seen it used in a more negative tone before (not quoted for truth). Wizard, my apologies. Evan
  3. Good luck, if you find one that is a direct fit definitely post up what it came off of for everyones information! Evan
  4. Thanks for keeping this place civil! Happy birthday.
  5. Dude, thats a TPS plug. Throttle position sensor. Not MAF. Take your TPS to a junkyard and look at some nissans. I know that connector is on maximas and altimas (or at least VERY close). You can make them work for sure. The other connection is for the valve that idles up the car when the A/C comes on. You don't really "need" it. Tape up the wires and keep an eye out at the junkyard for a suitable replacement. Evan
  6. Go for it man, you can add a muffler later. No muffler on a turbo car leaves alot of pipe for resonance. The first time you have to spend several hours on the highway and your head feels like its gonna implode, you will change your mind! lol. Ill get a sound clip at some point for you, I just put 5 gallons of E85 in it so I don't wanna get on it too bad. Ill take photos, but my exhaust has that type of muffler on the end and TWO resonators under the car. Its loud, sounds good, and very tollerable on the highway.
  7. Not so hidden now is it? I would advise anyone who has made mods to increase security to not tell a single soul about it. Especially the internet.
  8. Been there done that! Its frustrating, just keep a level head. Evan
  9. I don't have a z either. This is a great tech site and I like to contribute what little I can. Evan
  10. Damn smokey! Hows about some build details? Tim, another piece of evidence that I need to do the E85 setup. Evan
  11. Alright guys, another annoying question as I set everything up "legal" in my trunk. NHRA rules say the battery box or whatever needs to be bolted to a frame structure. I have a unibody car, so no real frame structure. There IS a subframe type rail near the mounting area, but its location is far from ideal. Any suggestions? I would use huge washers to reinforce the mounting etc.. Thanks! - Evan
  12. Its for looks and space requirements sometimes. 3" the whole way back. Back pressure on an rb is a bad thing. I should take a sound clip of my exhaust for you. Its a similar muffler just not on a z. Evan
  13. Aw gross seriously? What plug do you want again? i got some extras. Evan
  14. I associate the word Ricer with an attitude and not a car so much. Cocky.
  15. Scott, same deal here. I now have a nice area to work on my car too. I notice you have the mattress for the late night wrenching! lol Looks great, car looks phenomenal. Congrats. Evan
  16. If it makes you feel better I am drooling even at the notion of a 30!
  17. Bummer man, best of luck. Hope its recovered. or it burns to the ground with those pricks in it.
  18. Wow, did you see that guy go through the dirt? Evan
  19. Mike, thats a different process altogether. I remember seeing a car done in that stuff. Its a chemical reaction. Pretty wild.
  20. Pictures don't do his car justice! It was a treat to see it at DNI.
