Are you looking for the type in the photo or the ones with remote control? No matter how much I try, I still cannot get used to the look of them. These will be coming off soon.
If these are the ones you are thinking of
They are off the 1977 - 1981 C210 Skylines.

I purchased a set off Yahoo Japan auctions a few years ago. They will be going into my 78 Fairlady Z.
Most likely not for parts. The rust is not terminal from what I can see.
Right now it will sit in the driveway till I figure out what to do with everything. I have to many Z's along with extra parts and not enough space. Time to start selling off some of the spares.
Seams I cannot stop with the modifications. G Nose Time. This is a 5 piece setup. The buckets, center piece and bumper are from a maker in Japan. The lower piece is from Show-Cars out of Canada. The upper piece from Show-Cars was useless. I cut it up in an atempt to fit it. This was an excercise in futility. The bottom piece required many hours of work to get it in the current condition. Paint will come soon.
One is for sale on NICO by a guy with the username DanCouga for $400.00. It is located in Columbus GA.

So I acquired another 2+2. This one is a 1976. There is rust in the usual places on the body. The battery tray area and undercarriage looks good. An added bonus was discovering Tokico springs and Illumina's.
None worth posting yet. I have installed a G Nose on my 75 280Z though.
Speaking of the 75, I have now remembered the "Precision" brand coupe door seals did not fit properly on it. Hopefully the ones I have for the 2+2 fit better. Z man of Washington said there are no fitment issues with them.
This Question and answer is a good one. Distrubutor makes it a 5 cylinder?
Q: Hi, can you explain the race mode modifiation that you did under the hood? Did you just advance the timing? I don't understand. Ed from Ohio.
A: The distributor has a slide system that actually rotates the firing order around one whole cylinder basically they were too fast in 1974 so they bogged em when they shipped em by making it a 5 cylinder it's also how they passed emissions by not making the last cylinder in the power stroke they didn't produce too much gas emissions see they didn't use catalytic converters stock so they just measured burnt gas. So you slide the lower bracket one and then the upper bracket and technically it's at like 28degrees btc at the original marks but really it's at 8 degrees and firing all cylinder in the power stroke it took a while to get right but I beat 4.6 mustangs at ease cause of the rear being setup at 4.16 to one and the compression is 11 to 1 so you can see why they made em sell 60,000 before they could race that year, The 260 is actually a stroked 240 with a shorter head and bigger valves from the factory so you can why I don't want to get rid of it runs so nice. Starts like a new car and makes way more than 158 horse. You just have to stuff fuel in it and set the distributor right. This whole system and drive train will fit any 240z The engine trans and rear will fit any 280
For all those who want a AWD Z, here you go. Looks like the one referenced when discussions of making an S30 AWD conversion come up. 7,000,000Yen = about $70,000USD

I have been watching the stuff going on freshalloy. Makes me laugh someone comparing a single part to a 747.
There are alot of people using that forum for their own financial gain. Notice the ones complaining work or own a shop of some kind. Last I saw they were cutting on the quality and performance of the Cometic's.
My RB30/26 will be using a 87mm Cometic. It is sitting on my shelf right now.
You may want to add "obsolute" to your ebay searches.

How about a built in spelling and grammar check for the forum? Outlook has one. Before I send an email, the spell check button gets hit.
If I do not know how to spell something, MS Word gets opened before I post.
Some one withdrew their bid. They had bid $365 then retracted when the description was changed. Last I looked though the bid was around $177. Bid is now $23.48.
Damn those can be some expensive pieces of plastic!
My 78 Fairlady Z head light buckets have the tabs for those types of covers. When I aquired it, the light covers were missing. The buckets are collecting dust in the attic as mine will be getting a G Nose.
The Locksmith will have generic blanks. Factory blanks show up on ebay as well. Depends on if you have your heart set on a factory key.
A broad statement there. I have seen some in Okinawa that have become unrecognizable.
