  1. Give ya another $100 to make them go away...:)
  2. Nope, that would be this thread http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=116263 .
  3. HEH, notice the wind-up toy handle for the gas cap and the pro-ratchet shifter next to the seat on the red one? AG, it can't be too long before that happens and I'd be willing to bet that they're a bitch to turn with those long handlebars too. Looks like the radiators are fitted under the rears of them, based on the pipe connected to the water neck on the blue one. Looks like aluminum end tanks just past the rear ends on both of them (as seen from the right rear corners). Neat novelty bikes/trikes nonetheless.

  6. OOPS, My bad, I apologize, profusely... I just re-read what I typed...For the LOW impedance injectors you SHOULD definitely have the resistor pack inline. This will cause your injectors NOT to fire should you be using low impedance injectors without the resistor pack. I had edited that original post a couple of times and typed it wrong in the process. The injector pack is for use with low impedance injectors and therefore SHOULD be inline. (I went back and edited the original post containing the picture above.) Sorry for the confusion. Now, since you can get it to run with spraying starting fluid, you're definitely getting spark, so rule that out. Perhaps you're not getting fuel pressure because the fuel pump is not coming on. When you turn the key to the on position, you should hear the fuel pump come on for about 4-5 seconds to pressurize the fuel rail. Does it come on? Can you hear it while sitting in the car, before you even crank the car over? One other thing to remember is that the injectors should see 12V all the time (when the key is on), as the SDS ECU provides a GROUND signal pulse...be sure you have the injectors seeing 12V when the key is on. 7. He left the "R" out intentionally...he's using it to spell the word "Rape". It's either that or he needs it for a "Reality Check". These were available from MSA not all that long ago, I'm sure somebody has one still in a box besides him. They were pricey then, like $850 or so for the Z and $300 for the ZX. I got mine for the ZX before they went NLA. Neither one shows up in their current catalogs, but if you were to get in touch with Erikssen Nissan in Canada, they probably still have a few, at less than that guy wants.
  8. I was kinda waiting for a noob to come in and say that they went under the valve cover on the ends of the valve stems...providing Bling when you do the valves, and oh, adding 2.735 horsepower.
  9. Scott, Without knowing which wastegate and BOV you're running and how you have the vacuum lines routed to both the turbo, wastegate and BOV, it's almost impossible to tell from here. I do know that some wastegates use different ports for vacuum and pressure. Also, If you're using a boost controller, it could be that one of the lines on it are not hooked up correctly as well. I hate picking straws, but that's all I can think of at the moment. Need more specifics on hardware and how the vacuum lines are run to be of any more help at this point.
  10. $ 135.00 for a blown out trailer tire Man, you have the worst luck with trailer tires...
  11. COuld it be possible that SDS sent me the injector harness for a High impedence injector? If you have low impedance injectors, you should have the resistor pack inline... If you told Racetech that you were using low impedance injectors, they should have put it in the harness before sending it to you. I have it barely running at 250 the max. Sounds like you have a MAJOR air leak somewhere, like in the MAP sensor circuit (hoses, not electrical)... Where are you tapping into the intake manifold for the MAP connection?
  12. I'm thinking injector impedance might not be what you have it set up for, i'e. high or low (resistor pack inline or not). I could be on the wrong track, but I'm thinking it's injector related also.
  13. HA HA HA Jared, sometimes it DOES pay to play around on Craigslist...
  14. Z-Gad - Thanks, you hinting at something non-street-legal? DavyZ - It might not be stored outside any longer. I'm thinking of storing my boat (on it's trailer) on it in the mini-storage just to keep it out of the weather. I'm creatively thinking, vertical, there's nothing above the boat now. Us ex-Navy ship dwelling guys know how to pack stuff small and tight. It probably won't work out, but it's a thought. gijonas - Sorry to disappoint you, I pay for everything I get. "Stole" was used comparatively speaking. ZDrifter - It won't be stored here, damn HOA... Pete84 - It's rated at 7000 lbs, plenty enough for what I need. Gabe - I'm thinking electric winch in the box up front, in-deck D-ring tie downs, Rhino-line the deck, and possibly a front wind jammer/deflector (so far)...you know me, gotta be different.
  15. Lowered 8'x16' steel deck, bobtail, with slide out ramps, electric brakes, 2 years old with NO rust, custom rims and NEW tires...$1700, couldn't pass it up. Now I can beat the pith out of the car and not have to worry about being stranded...heheh. Lookout SEZ9 Warren

  20. Gabriel said: "We probably won't be making this for the 280ZX, because there is like....only 6 guys in the known universe modding the 280ZX. ----->Serving small groups of enthusiastic owners is our speciality." Gabriel, now you've done it. Obviously we don't need to do a roll-call on 280ZX owners who are modding them, but your statement is so NOT true. There are ALOT of us, not only, but especially, on here who are modding 280ZX's. (Can of worms officially opened, and not by me this time). Oh, and I "CAN" speak up, as a customer of yours... BTW, the top roller bearings you sell are NOT required for use on the ZX if you use the stock bearings and are not using coilovers. I now have a set that I can't use and can't return (had 'em too long). Maybe I'll just shelve them in case I ever do coilovers up front. On a side note> If more aftermarket parts were available for the 280ZX, I'm sure alot more of them would be on the road instead of jack stands. There are actually quite a few of them sitting in garages, at a standstill, because of problems locating parts for desired mods that work on the S30 but not the S130, yet the 280ZX gets the shaft because they're being scavenged for their powertrains. Almost like we can't win for losing. (no flaming requested). Warren
