  1. The sole purpose of this "Tax" is to aid in road improvements, since the state house of deligates couldn't agree on "HOW" to improve upon them otherwise. Perhaps they should stop spending so much on 1/10th mile markers... I recently drove from Atlanta to Fredericksburg VA and couldn't believe my eyes. The mile markers in that area of VA are in 1/10ths....something to do with "fog" is what I got told when I asked about that. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life. All those poles and signs. Wanna save money? Use reflective PAINT or something, not poles and signs every 10th of a mile. Just a rant. No need for a full explanation. HAHAHAH, as I'm typing this, I look up at the google ad right above the Quick Reply box and it has this link saying "Speeding Ticket Virginia Ex-Traffic Cop Shows How To Fight And Beat Your Speeding Ticket. Fight-The-Speeding-Ticket.com GO GOOGLE ADS!!!
  2. This might seem like a really STUPID question, but how do you plan on holding the hitch bar in? I see no provision for a hitch pin, or is this not the reciever style of trailer hitch? Warren
  3. Clifton, You're right. I just realized that he's not using an SDS ECU for TIMING, only for additional fuel injectors. Therefore the the information I was referring to is incorrect. I was getting the timing curve ideas from: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=78186 http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=78960 http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=92442 http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=77085&highlight=SDS+Timing Sorry to have posted in this at all now. (Crawling back under my rock now) Warren
  4. Biggest lesson to learn here is NEVER use a car dolley...ALWAYS use a full trailer/hauler. Glad you eventually made it where you were going safe. Warren
  5. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=111474&highlight=hub+diameter Scroll down to one of Frank280ZX's entries... Strange but I noticed that the diameter of the ZX stub axle is actually smaller (30mm vs. 32mm) than the first generation 1970-78 Z cars. The Z31 stub axle starts out at a 30mm diameter but then it tapers out to a diameter of 35mm where the wheel flange is. Nice upgrade. Hope that's what you're looking for. Warren
  6. This post has been removed to avoid confusion. I had misread the original and posted incorrect information for the equipment being used. Sorry to have interjected. Warren
  7. Nope, watched a many of them just use their little teflon tools and poke it right back in, still paintless and doesn't leave a mark at all. You'd be shocked at how good "some" of the PDR guys really are. I know I was. I do alot of work at car dealerships and I've watched those guys do some neat stuff...stuff you wouldn't think was possible. I say "some" of those guys because I've seen some real nightmares created by a PDR guy or two who didn't know what they were doing.
  8. Is it possible to fix dents that are dented "out". What do you think the PDR guy does when he goes a little too far pushing one out from the back side? Warren
  9. It can usually be fixed via PDR. But don't feel alone. I did the same thing, but only 1 screw before I realized they were the wrong ones...bitch part about it is I even had the right screws bagged and marked "HOOD LATCH - On Hood". The excitement of reassembly can cause you to do some wierd things. Let your paint cure for about two weeks before you try to get it fixed or the surface won't be hard enough to withstand the pressures exerted on it and it'll leave a mark. Good luck with it. Warren
  10. I put mine right in front of the turbo, easy to install, plumb and works flawlessly. As long as the turbo isn't on the manifold, you CAN install it with the manifold on the engine. Just stuff a clean rag into the manifold, behind where you want to drill. When you remove the rag, it takes any drilling shraff with it. This works only if you have a LONG drill bit, since the intake will be in the way. It's best to do it with the manifold off of the engine though. Hope it helps, Warren
  11. The also have metric adapters so you can screw it right into the stock location. Unfortunately, I can't answer which size you need. Metric Adapters Warren
  12. Hey Dan, How about creating an "Aritcles" or "Published" section where people can post articles written about HybridZ's or other neat cars. Only worry would be copyright violation, but that's another story. Just a suggestion. Warren
  13. Seems alot of us have boxers... The one in the video is the mother of the 3 I have now. Unfortunately, she's no longer with me (breast cancer invaded her lungs). dog thread
  14. Ok, I think I've got it ressurected. Right click on the below and let it download to your computer, then play it in Windows Media Player or other .wmv player. Right Click Here and Save As Warren
  15. Bob, There is a site with lots of options shown. Some on Z's, some on ZX's. Click Here I'm working on bringing back to life, the old video I had of the Mustang light installation. My web host is not cooperating. I'll post that link when it's working again to show you whats involved with that process. ALOT of work sums it up though. Warren
  16. 05, 06 or 07 Mustang tail lights. Click So far, I'm the only one who has done it, that I'm aware of. Warren
  17. Funny you should ask this.... Click In all actuallity, you should be able to mig weld it just fine. I only used my TIG since it was available and I was a little concerned with proper penetration of a mig weld not being attainable since its actually 3 pieces of steel with who knows what in between (air, corrosion, etc). Warren
  18. I'd rather err on the side of caution, since this particfular bushing seat does center the bushing, which in turn centers or positions the sway bar end link in the right position. Some may say don't bother, but if you don't want to ruin new bushings, have it corrected. Warren
  19. Pocket T shirts or polo shirts with a pocket would be nice too...with the logo either on the pocket or above it, either way. The pocket would come in handy to keep all the timeslips from SEZ in...hahaha
