  1. Looks great man! I say NO BUMPER!!
  2. Currently running 2005. I am planning on a 28' x 28' or 25' building with a 10' finished wall height. Originally I was thinking of doing a barn-like structure so I could make an office upstairs. Any and all plans would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much for the offer. Rufus
  3. I am building a garage and drawing my own prints on Autocad. I was wondering if anyone had any plans or prints from a build that they would be willing to share. I just want to make sure i have all the building ideas I can when making my drawing (e.g., double post corners, double top plate for tying the walls together etc.). Thanks! Rufus
  4. I think I would try sandblasting the seam first before welding.
  5. Thanks guys!! The 95 I am looking at will only cost me 1100 bucks....and the 95 and up is 4x4 on the fly thanks again!! EDIT: Well I didn't buy it. Bunch of small electrical issuse...nothing I couldn't fix...needs front brakes BAD...tailgate dented and a pain to open...AC non-op...needs exhaust...oh yeh...the reverse problem "1 out of 100 times doesn't engage"...dude has his ratio backwards more like 1 out of 100 times it DOES engage...
  6. Looking at a 95 SE tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts / experience to offer. It seems like a sweet deal so I am going to check it out...need a 4 x 4 here in Buffalo... The owner says that 1 out of 100 times reverse does not engage. I read some tech sheets on known issues and one was about trans slippage if Nissanamatic "C" fluid is not used, so I am hoping that is the cause. I am going to do a carfax report since he says that the odometer just stopped working...it shows 95738 on the od but he thinks it has 97000 or so on it now as he bought it a couple of months ago and never registered it. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks! Rufus
  7. What about the G nose though...although not my tatse I know a lot of cats on this forum would love to get their dirty claws on one. It may be worth your time to pull it off...if it is in decent shape that is...
  8. LMAO!!! I agree that a 'feature' intead of 'ride' is a good idea. If the mods are going to pick the 'features' we need to make it easy for them (i.e., as little work as possible). 10 a month I think would be too many. We have a lot of members but we would not want to deplete the resoureces too quickly, and we would want to leave the features up for a full month... IMOOC...
  9. I am thinking of buying a truck from AZ. Trouble is I live in sunny Buffalo NY. Can anyone recommend a (cheap) shipper? Thanks! Rufus
  10. Sounds cool...I could host it if you need a spot.
  11. That looks familiar!! Nice work!!! Yeh flux core sux core but it does the job. Glad to see you painted the welds quickly as they will rust if not painted. If you heat the metal as mentioned make sure you heat it slow and low (annealing)...propane could actually make the metal harder to bend if you get it too hot too quick.
  12. It doesn't have a sunroof does it? That would be a shame...
  13. Pretty sweet!! Any idea where the hood originated from?
  14. The vents are another Reaction Research piece. They are from John's Spyder kit. http://www.reactionresearch.com/zspydergallery.html I have them installed backward because I hope to use them as a fresh intake sinceI have my cowl closed up. Some have said it won't work because of low pressure...we will see I have hopes it will using the fan as an aid.
  15. OK Rick this is what I did. First I used only the top portion of the VR cheeks: Then I cut the Subtle fenders on the vertical line seen below Then I bonded the two together (which tok a lot more work that it sounds like right now) In answer to yourt question. I had fitment issues in three spots, see below The yellow is where i cut away the large wing that is supposed to protect the bonnett from rocks getting flung up. i did it more for the look that the fit as I cut it all away. i want to see the coil overs when the bonnett is up. The red is the ear off the fender which i cut off and will bond to the cowl so that it does not move when the bonnett is lifted. I figured those pieces would probebly flop around at high speed. The cheeck under this portion did not give me much trouble but if it did I could cut it off as it would never be seen. Finally the green is a triangle section I had to cut out on each side so that the bonnet would close all the way. You probably don't have to worry about this as the YZ will be much wider. I hope that helps...let me know if you need further info. Rufus
  16. If you get a chance will you post a pic or 2? Thanks!
  17. They don't make those anymore right? I tried to find one before I bought my parts from RR but had no luck. They are super sweet!!
  18. I cut the buckets out of my old fenders and if i use stock z lights I will bond them into my fiberglass scoops...( I got the fiberglass scoops off some chump on a weak a$$ z site)...heheheheh J/K Matt!! BTW...I love the halo as a TS light idea!!! Don't be too suprised to see it on a hybrid soon.....
