  2. am i the only one who thought at the outset this would be a hell of a lot kinkier??? or am i just the site pervert?
  3. found it during my regular ebay search and nearly fell off my chair. http://hybridz.org/nuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=34878 by the way, i'm still open to someone loaning me 30 grand.
  4. DISCLAIMER this may not be the safest but.... pull your fuel pump. run a line into a gas can, wire to a good ground, and touch a hot line to your car battery. if you get gas flying out, it's good. oh. and no smoking!!!!
  5. i was thinking more in a travolta shirt from "saturday night fever"...but everybody gets into music in their own way!

  11. ron... whether it seems like it to you or not, that came together QUICK!!!! especially when considering the quality of work! it looks incredible, but seeing the progress pics and from talking to you about it, i expected that... great job man!
  12. oh, my god, and such low, low, low prices!!!! i ordered 3 sets of cross drilled brake lines!!! i've been looking for something to put under that chicken chow mein...
  13. as for the vg30 look for ZR8ED's posts... he has one in his 280. most of the weight went into beefing up the structure. the bumpers were pigs too, but it's mostly frame, sound deadening, stuff like that.
  14. oh, would i be mad. but look at it this way... if she was a few feet farther back it would've been the quarter, at least a new door bolts on easy....
  15. well, the headline said it... ever since i had to replace the battery it's been a nightmare. i drove it once, found out i didn't have the battery bracket as locked down as i thought and it slid off. to make matters worse, what felt like a good connection wasnt... seems my positive terminal wasn't tight enough either, never a good idea to rush through a battery installation in fading daylight while being swarmed by starving mosquitoes. so, the bad connection was turning my fuel pump on and off (wired through a toggle to the battery)... one second fine, next second stalling. so i deal with the terminals (heck with it, 4 bucks, buy new ones.) hop back in the car... crank crank nothing. now what? pull #6 plug... black as chris rock's buttcrack. off to the store again, brand-spankin-new set of ngks. 10 minutes, out with the old in with the new. hop back in again... you guessed it. nothing. the fuel pump's pumping, i can hear it just like usual. i know it could be a million things... anybody have an idea where to start? i don't want to just go about replacing parts for no reason, i'm a restaurant manager not a boob doctor.(silicone boy? my wife's wondering if you do reductions...i digress.) anyway, there you have it. my little use of humor to hide the fact that i'm flaming pissed off! HELP!!!!!...bob

  23. jon... for all the debating, i think we're both on the same page... just looking at it from slightly different angles. you make a great point about the establishment of a democratic government... but i'd really rather see it done sooner than later so we can continue to make demonstrative points in other places where they need to be made. i still tend to think that the rapid obliteration of iraq was a thinly-veiled distraction from our inability to bring home the initial prize, and i wish we had been able to find what we went in for in the first place. but back to mr. johnson... my thoughts go out to his loved ones... not only for their loss but for the near media circus that was made of it. i can't imagine what they must have felt when they turned on fox news and heard the words "beheaded" or "decapitated" over and over again. i find it unacceptable that such utter disrespect could be shown for the family and friends of this innocent man. if it were me, i'd sure as hell rather not have the macabre details of my execution broadcast for the world to know about. and on a totally unrelated matter... this is just another reason why i love hybridz!!!!
  24. I didn't take mike's posts as saying we were losing... that was my own tangent. i didn't mean to sound as though i feel we've accomplished nothing, we have... but i can't say we hold the upper hand when there are constant stirrings of more attacks, and in a terrorist mind percieved weakness is as good as victory... and a low number of casualties is still a number of casualties. as far as al-queda, all we've done is succeded in their defragmenatation.. now making them a more difficult enemy to get a read on, more widespread as many have moved their camps from where they were, and much angrier. we may have knocked out a good measure of their leadership, but they might as well be twenty or more smaller organizations with the same cause. but i DO think a final, definitive ass-kicking has long been in order and i firmly support our need to do so. i do not think occupation is victory. i do not think we're fighting this war on all the fronts it needs to be fought on. and as long as that remains the case, and as long as people with no regard for the value of human life can strike fear into our hearts, i can't say we're winning.
