Yeah As I said I just upgraded these parts on my L28et Ported Head (intake only 32.5mm) Ported Intake Manifold *to head 32.5mm to TB 65mm* 60mm TB *Customed Cable throttle and no need for Spacer, flipped upsidedown so TPS is on inside closes to manifold* Stock J-Pipe till my FMIC arrives Ported turbo *300zxt with water coolant lines, Mod'd to fit stock 280zxt downpipe (longer bolts through compressor)* Ported Wasgate just a bit but used stock 280zxt Actuator 300zxt Injector pigtails Maxima MAF *6 pin* Removed all Automatic climate control VCM's & VCM modules & Cruise control Removed AC & pump Removed Powersteering belt for now. 3" Straight pipe exhaust no Cat to rear end 3"Magnaflow performance exhaust Found a 3Pin O2 sensor that fits stock 280zxt Bungholio! Soon swapping my 5-speed BorgW from my N/A 280zx 300zxt 1987 ECU swap
  2. Yeah originally grew up in Vancouver B.C. and would be willing to have the fun Drive LOL $25 bucks you say hehe.. Ill call Nissan Tomorrow after I visit the local wrecker here seemed to have tracked down A COUPLE of Z's hmmm possible treasure!!!!! *looks at pockets.. hmm getting low on $$$....... could sell my arms or kidneys.. hmmm yep Ill just have to sell my soul* DEVIL Z here I come! Oh also Recommend the 300zxt turbo with Water cooling to all. deffinately keeps it cool in there almost thinking of adding a small cooler just for it to cycle through like a tranny cooler but make it a extra mini turbo Rad =-) OH ANYONE NEED ANY SPECIFIC Z SHIAT CAUSE the guy said hes got a Couple and I am willing to dismatle crap and sell it for a bit more than I bought for but very cheap.

  4. Everything but my front fenders..... lol.... Found them to be quite the Rusty Pile well the lower 10% anyway.. Just cut it off but now they dont attach to the wheel well down there haha.. (*cuts up some sheet metal, bends by hand*) ah... a Few sheet metal screws here and there.... tada!! lol Rough but it will do for now! Anyone got Frotn Fenders!!
  5. Yeah right now as I said feels So much better. My Buddy with a fairly Mod'd Skyline GTS 2.0T got in and he remembers the old version. He could not get over how quick the throttle responce was and wasnt expecting the power through the whole RPM range. Almost got a Ticket 2 mins out of his driveway for doing 0-70kmh in a 50 LOL Cop just came out of Tim Hortons (doughnut Shop) lol.. Dont even have my front fenders on yet Either haha.. Looks like some kinda Hotrods stepchild!
  6. Yeah I hear you can swap to the z32.. seems crazy But I have the Tranny outback collecting dust right now LOL (for a z32tt) for now... its all goood =-)

Usually when installing the seals I put a bit of tranny magic (sealer) or a good Diff sealant around the seal itself just incase any debri or sand or what have you is still there so it seals no matter what. Buut prolly a seal leak or maybe even the wrong seal was used.. Parts people arent always on their A game =-)
  8. I think if its a Automatic then the driveshaft length or coupler is different or something , pretty sure theres a Post on here i saw. I have a whole car 1981 with T5 and shaft so im just swapping it all over. so look on here further I know its here I saw it last week im sure
  9. :mrgreen:After all the Fiddling, and soldering, Porting, cleaning, splicing, trips to the wrecker, mass question on here, and of course BLOOD , SWEAT, But no TEARS. I rate it 100% Pure Fun. Deffinately learned a hell of alot in the process. Made my fears of electrical virtually dissapear. And best of all Man oh Man dose she fly with great consistancy. Power from start to finish and im running an AUTO Tranny right now.. ewwwwww... Can't Wait to drop my 5-Speed in this week I think I better start saving for tires.. and when the Intercooler comes in and im pushing 12.5psi golly miss molly Silvia's watch out.
  10. ah also found the capped off Sensor from I believe to AAC or beside that had a small hole in it!!!! lol causing higher than normal idle poop!. gotta plug that bastard. haha
  11. So I checked it where it was it would only advance through ecu to about 20 with good throttle so turned distributor a bit and shes set at 20 then with about 2500 rpm 24 runs strong no ping no smoke fells great through the RPM range so I think I'll stick with it =-)
  12. Yeah I dont really like the sounds of the other way satted It was my understanding you just turn the Distributor to.. sooo not sure why you would need to trick the ECU.. *looks on Alldata*
  13. So basically I should take off the Connector to TPS. Hot wire it witha paper clip in the ends and set timing that way? or leave TPS on and just move the distributor cap to 24? I havent done this procedure so kinda a walkthrough for dummies would be great lol
  14. yeah I went to wrecker and got a 300zx TPS that bolts right up to the 60mm TB and t works fine now. Just as I said in other post it seems a taaad rich like its injecting to soo and firing to late or something lol.. I mean now its hauling ass but seems liek it needs to be tuned juuuuuuust a lil bit more cause if I play with throttle like 85% as opposed to 100% I get a nice clean pull feeling where as if I jam on it its kinda like its trying to hard lol
  15. Yeah its a 1987 Turbo ecu Im running stock boost right now which max's that stock guage in cluster at redline so liek 8psi but I have a Manual Boost controller. Hooked in but not using till my intercooler arrives. So yes I run 91-94 octane only good oil. Stock Jpipe right now. but a 1987 T3/T4 AirResearch Stock 300zxt Turbo only difference I see in that turbo is the water cooling which I customed into the coolant system. but yeah seems to be a Bit rich still like its burning to late or injecting just to soon. No ping. so I guess I could advance it then?
  16. I have a 81 ECU its form my standard not sure if they are different in Auto. but I put a 87 Standard 300zxt ECU in my Auto 82 280zxt and it works just fine Cause Auto is controlled by Trans fluid pressure and internal tranny pressure solenoids
  17. justso you know the VG30 Maximas which are very avaliable in the wreckers have the same connector I upgraded mine to one cause it was less corroded. But I could get one for you if you really need one

I have one I pulled outta my 280zxt 1982. but two studs broke to compressor Turbo works perfect I just installed a 300zxt with coolant lines in my new build but tons of bolt left to take em Out I could if you want and I beleive I have studs lying around I could put in. But again it boosted to 10psi no issues so let me know Ill put it all back together.
  19. Is this a 280zxt? or a 280 sorry quickly reading I have ALLDATA I could send you full Wiring diags all I can see on a 81-83 setup turbo is the only yellow Black I can see goes to AFM pin 30. as for th green thers so many lol hmmm...
  20. I just did the Mod with good success. Even got a Direct fit O2 sensor so no need to change the 280zxt Downpipe. If you look through my album or ask me I could send you all the Wiring Diags with Colour routing ont he wiring diag. So let me know. Was a good challenge but not to hard just lots of time =-) But DIZZY's are the same I got mine out of a NA VG30 from a Maxima as well as the MAF from a NA 300zx (came with 6pins already)

  22. So you cant put CPU in limp mode by putting it in the test mode by turning the ECU pin on the side of the unit? Ok well I'll try her and see what kind of power I can unleash out of her! =-). I know so far theres a noticeable change in rpms and power right through the spectrum which is so nice. So again to all who have helped out I huge ty
  23. yeah man thats sweet.. Thats kinda how I found mine but paid $700 more. $1000 Started fine ran great still my DD as I mod it. Only had mine for about 3 months now. but for $1000CDN I was happy especially since it still went 130mph on a Auto.. Awesome find!
  24. So from what I can tell on Alldata. 1982 280zxt ignition timing is 24o +-2 BTDC 1987 300zxt ignition timing is 15o +-2 BTDC so should i set my ignition timing for the 300zxt or inbetween both so say 19 or 20o BTDC.. any help or others who have done this Modification let me know ty =-)
  25. So after I installed the ECU I hear you have to Set the 280zxt Distributor Timing so ignition timing I guess? Can it be done by ear or should I go buy a Light and what should it be set to TY All who have helped with this BUILD!!!
