  1. Some more tinkering and I think I can just remove the spacer on top altogether. I believe I will have enough firewall clearance and transmission tunnel clearance to do so.... something like this
  2. I will definately change the mount' date=' I like that idea better.... something like this right? [img']http://album.hybridz.org/uploads/9152/Mods.jpg[/img]
  3. I have an existing mandrel bent setup that's 2.5"... when I upgrade my turbos is when I'm going to update my exhaust at the same time.
  4. I plan on running it right below the mount, almost tucked under it. Once the motor is closer to running, I'll fab up the exhaust system and take further pictures. For right now I'm just going to run 2.5" mandrel bent stainless all the way. (I know I want a 3" setup, but not right now).
  5. Yeah, now that I think of it, the ER34 RB25DET Neo's might have that style clutch which would require a little further inspection on that.
  6. Thanks for that! Your Fairlady should be rocking the streets soon too!
  7. Hopefully soon! Still working on making it fit right. If not, I will have plenty of the motor mounts available.
  8. Sometimes the shifter is still connected to the transmission, and when you pull the transmission back, it gets caught on the tunnel and it "seems stuck".
  9. Stainless Steel Mounts Tig Welded New engine insulators with washer, split ring, and lock nut Complete here, everything you see is what you get. (240Z Style transmission mount) Packaged almost ready to go... Clearance on both sides I believe is sufficient Clutch slave has no problem here Two lock nuts for the transmission (you must use the stock transmission insulator) Ground clearance on a lowered Z seems good to me. The car has full urethane bushings and Tokico 1" springs to give you an idea. Front crossmember clearance with RB20DET (200ZR) pan is good US Driver side looking back towards the rear US Driver side looking back towards the rear US Passenger side looking back towards the rear I've got one set available right now. All hardware is grade 10.9 and the mounts are made from stainless steel. If you are planning to run a RB20DET/RB25DE trans, I can also make a transmission bracket for that. $400 USD Dollars + shipping (I figured this would be a reasonable price with all the nuts, bolts, hardware and new engine insulators since McKinney sold his mounts with nothing for $650). Contents of the kit... (1) RB Mount Left (1) RB Mount Right (1) 240Z Style Transmission Mount (RB25DET/RB25DE your choice) [260/280 styles coming soon hopefully] (2) New Engine Insulators And all the needed nuts and bolts grade 10.9 for this swap (to mount in the motor and transmission).
  10. I didn't know they sell direct.... maybe thats where I should go in the future.
  11. Oh yeah, I think I can get these bad boys for $450 for the ATI Dampers for the RB.
  12. I asked you about it in another thread, but you didn't respond. I hear Pete has first dibs =P. I don't need the tranny but the shaft would be nice if you want to part.
  13. I know it is an L Shaped pattern for sure... You should call Venus Auto, they are notorious for having random parts laying around. I was able to get a couple of pieces from them that they took out of a motor for me.
  14. My transmission was fortunate to already have one on it. You SHOULD be able to use the Z32 N/A Slave but don't quote me on that. Also I think Nismo makes one.
  15. Nor have i been to the land down under... I hear you got a buncha dirt and a giant rock.
  16. How about Las Vegas, hehe, we all love to gamble, drink, and the occasional get laid. haha just kidding.
