  1. Yeah, but XS charges a pretty dime for that service! They're like 10 minutes away from me
  2. Please post pictures of you gearbox mount! I also forgot this is the RB20DET transmission and not the RB25DET.
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8018845749 How is this different from the F Con PRO? Is this a good deal for $300? Advantages? Sorry for the noob like questions. I've done a little time here to get by with one nooblike question.
  4. Have you ever tried shooting those part numbers to Shea @ Nismoparts? I've shot so many random non-US Catalog Part Numbers to him, and he's been very good at getting rare Nissan parts not available here.
  5. Yes, if you're talking about the ECR33 and not the RB25DE/RB20DET. (GTS and GTS-T models) Also since this is a RB26 (GT-R) thread, both trannies are AWD for R32/R33.
  6. Well I don't have three RB26's, so I guess they're for sale. $85 a pop.
  7. I came across a few of these. Just thought I would show some of you who were interested.
  8. Good news and bad news everyone. I have decided not to continue with the transmission mounts. There are a few reasons and I will list them below. However, I will still continue to make motor mounts so that's part of the good news. #1) I realized there are about three different transmission mount styles. There is the 260/280/280ZX style, and the 240Z style. Within the 240Z, there is the early style and the late 240Z style. I have been designing the stuff on a 1972 240Z, and when I put the transmission mount into the 1970 240Z, things just didnt seem to fit right on the transmission. #2) A lot of members have brought up very good points about the sag of the transmission, or things along those lines. I don't feel safe after all the testing and fitment, that I should release the transmission mount on behalf of your safety, and any liability issues that may arise from this product. I would rather see another Hyrbid RB guy alive, than one whose transmission dropped out and caused some major accident. You guys are too valuble as friends for me to screw over for $$$. So to make a long story short, I will only be making the motormounts like Rick and everyone else. I believe I will price them at $250 for the mounts + insulator + hardware. I hope my honesty plays a role here, because I am concerned about your safety and your well being. EDIT: Sorry, I meant $250.
  9. I can get them maybe for a bit cheaper, but I would have to ask.
  10. http://www.atiperformanceproducts.com/products/dampers/ Contact them directly I think.
  11. Do R33 motors have the old style Ignitor? I just didn't know that they did the heat sink thing on the R33's
  12. The problem with the autometer gauges for fuel level i think is the fuel sender. DIfferent ohm ranges or what not.
  13. I am very aware of that. The only thing that doesnt work is the 74-83 Transmission mount.
  14. http://www.livesockets.com/quoc/rb/9_mount/index.htm This is how the motor sits for right now. I will have more pictures very very soon.
  15. Mounts are almost done being modified for "better" purposes. =)
  16. Basically there is a front and back of the release bearing. It really depends on which company manufactured your release bearing too. But the best way is to put the bearing on, and spin the face that would touch the pressre plate, if that moves freely then you're good. If you can't rotate it freely, then most likely its installed backwards.
  17. I meant to write that, people always write S30 when sometimes it's supposed to be HS30, HLS30, etc... We all make mistakse =)
  18. I found more here.... You can obviously tell this isn't a Z by the Strut Tower Brace, the car is the KGC10 Hakasouka.
