  1. I think I will just use some high grade washers, or use shorter bolts. Oh! We're also making tranny mounts too, those should be completed soon.
  2. http://www.autozone.com Just type in 4040335 for the Part Number search deally.
  3. Does anyone have one of these instock? I've looked far and wide, even looked at the Goodyear GatorBelts or Power Enterprise. No one has one in stock or no one can get it. Belt Size - 4PK850 Nissan Part Number - "11720-42L01" Goodyear Part Number - "4040335" EDIT: Nevermind, I think I found it online somewhere.
  4. I did try helping them by giving them a call. Their response to me was one of "me not knowing anything". It just really ticks me off that I was trying to help them, but they had a mentality of being far too superior to me. That just made me ticked off. If they made a mount kit for the later models they would even sell more kits since 73+ had the later style mounts. I'm done talking abot this topic... If they want help, they should know where we are by now.
  5. Semi-Related Question... The RB25DET is designed to be used with a Q45 TB. But when the motor and plenum with Q45 TB is bolted up to the S30, the throttle wheel hits the inner wheel well [i don't see why Nissan designed a wheel well that goes almost to the front of the car with the exception of changing our light bulbs]. Can the wheel be relocated? Pictures of this will come soon so everyone knows what the heck I'm talking about.
  6. I called them prior to that date when he posted that TELLING him the differences between the tranny mounts. And he was like "Well I got a drawing straight from Nissan and from my point of view that's the only mount they made". And I spent 15 minutes arguing with him. You wonder why I won't even consider this mount.
  7. If anyone needs a Momo Wheel or Sparco Wheel, I can get them as well as the momo steering wheel hubs that work for Momo/Sparco. I get decent wholesale deals on these if anyone wants. Just give me a style and part number and I'll look it up.
  8. I think the Momo Hub works on the Nardi 6 bolt steering wheels. $50 bucks on that if you want one.
  9. Also if anyone can find the M30 J30 Ratios and add them, that would help out a lot!
  10. Can you add these to the list master list above?
  11. In the United States we never got the 3.9 Open R180 just for reference for anyone who didn't know.
  12. Rick if you could make a kit persay, I would be on it like White on Rice. I don't personally have your mounts, but if you could make something like that for an Early Style tranny mount, I would definately be a customer when it comes to that. Would you consider making tranny mounts?
  13. Okay, I got the news... $1150 - Mounts With Driveshaft shipped $650 - Mounts Without Drivesaft shipped. That pretty much tells me I'm not going this route, but the pricing might be helpful for you guys. Next part.... As for the Top Hat Tranny mounts, does anyone want to try it out? If it's $45 bucks, maybe we can help throw together the cost for one mount to see if someone can modify it to fit the Early 240Z. Just an idea.
  14. As for those without skill or with skill...remember HybridZ is about to each his own Z and however someone wants to do something is up to the individual. I'm sure everything has Pros and Cons, the kit makes it easy for guys who don't have too much talent, but could have been designed better. And for those who can fabricate like no other, James, Stony, Matt... more power to you and your work is really nice. For us normal brutes, it's something to consider. I'll consider it, or I might even consider making a copy of the tranny mount and re-engineer it better. Good luck to all of us doing any kind of swap!
  15. Okay I should clear a fwe things up about this kit. This kit is very very specific. It is designed for the early style 240Z. Meant to put any RB block [we're not talking about oil pan clearance] just the block with room to clear probably the 200ZR oil pan knowing McKinney and a RB25DET transmission. Not the RB20DET or the RB25DE transmissions. Again, RB25DET transmission to a RB block in the early 240Z. No and if's or buts about what this kit was designed for. If you ask them "will it fit blah blah blah" they're just going to say "kit is designed for RB with 25DET tranny, anything else is up to you if it fits or not".
  16. That utilized the early style Tranny Mount stock location.
  17. Pretty Mickey Mouse if you ask me. I don't like the looks of it myself. Who knows, it might work? Can someone make a better copy of this utilizing the stock factory mounts? I would rather give a member my money than them.
  18. I heard in the neighborhood of 600 bucks. Seems steep but I haven't checked on that 100%. I will post everyone with updates when I find out.
  19. I would consider that for 45 bucks. I wonder how wide it is. That mount looks like it can be modified, but I wonder how thick the Top Hat mount is.
  20. Alright gentlemen, I recieved photos of the new mounts. Personally I don't think they're that great. The RB25DET transmission is too big to be held up by that tranny mount in my opnion.
  21. A couple things... RBMotoring is a RI that imports cars or what not too. I'm not sure about the current situation with the DOT, but you can ask them if you really wanted. And second, I think HKS makes full kits and manifolds for the RB25DET, but look to pay a very shiny penny. I can get them at wholesale but wholesale can only go so far on a high priced item like that.
  22. I just got some studs from Autozone Part Number 98355 12x1.25 Knurl 12.85mm Length is 41.5mm
