  1. You'll be fine man.... don't worry. Good work takes time.
  2. I can get real RS-Watanabe's Brand New at like $485 per wheel in 16"... Pretty much any width on that with the 4" backspace. Special Color +$20 per wheel and Machined Lip +$15 per wheel I think.... Just throwing it out there that's all. Didn't mean to rob this thread like that.
  3. Did you even call Venus-Auto like I said?
  4. I wonder if a Z32 electrical sender will work. If anyone knows of a replacement for this that would be super!
  5. Which sensor is in the front (above speed sensor), and what is the other one?
  6. If the sender is on the speedo cable cog thing, I think it got broken off.. =( Does it go here? Otherwise if its in the back then I'm in good shape!
  7. Okay, not to bring back a bad topic from the dead or anything... But is there an electronic sensor on the trans that I don't know about that could possibly be used for the electronic speedo?
  8. Give Venus Auto a call. They're really good for this kind of stuff. You can get the phone number off of their website ta http://www.venus-auto.com
  9. Gotcha... Water inlet to the motor is the thermostat.... water outlet from manifold... Thanks, it just seemed backwards to me and it actually is!
  10. The water inlet for the engine is the one sitting really high right? (on the GReddy Plenum or Stock Intake Plenum). It didn't seem to make sense to me that the water was being sucked in from that high of a position in the motor. I figured that thermostat was the outlet and couldn't remember where the engine water inlet went. Sorry for the nooblex like questions.
  11. I'll have to notch some more, but who cares...it's a car thats meant to be driven... Speed sensor? I might convert to electronic, but I'll really have to wait and see. I wish it would just fit! It fit before I raised the transmission, but I would rather have the better position of the motor.
  12. Now that finals are over... This speed sensor is going to be the death of me... It's a lot closer to the hood release than before... Shifter clearance...non existent (Keep in mind I had a Series 1 chassis and the shifter location was way the F back there) Nismo Solid Shifter + Nismo Shift Knob + Wilwood Prop Valve = SERIOUS BUSINESS I raised the entire mount up a good 1.25" making a nicer cleaner fit, more clearance etc.. Clearance BEFORE the mod.. AFTER...
  13. You have to think that the RB20DET has 0.8L Less displacement from the L28ET. It's kind of the old grassroots saying "There's no replacement for displacement".
  14. Looking good Mac, keep it up! Don't be like me and lag. As for the weight of the motor, I think the RB25DET weighs roughly 700 lbs complete with transmission. With the A/C, P/S and some other misc crap removed from my motor it'll weigh a little less (not much more).
  15. I'm not cool with the dealer thing... just because I don't believe I have to pay a shop to do it.
  16. Wasn't the R33 crank stronger than the R32? Was it a crankwalk problem? or was it the oil pump drive problem?
