According to my Motorsport catalog 70 - 78 are all the same. 77, and 78 wiper arms are black, all others are chrome.( sorry stainless steel )

Looks like they come in trucks, anywhere from a 4 to an 8 cylinder. They will bolt to most GM engines except LSX engines. Where is Omicron Persia 8? If your car is a " big chunk of rust " you may want to look for a better car for a V8, unless there just isn't any where you're from. I would go with an OD , stick or auto. If your only choices are a T350 or T400, I'd go with the T350. It's lighter, and shorter, and if down the line you want OD, a 200-r4 is the same size.

How many coats of paint are on there? To get that orange peel out, you are going to have to wet sand before buffing.

The front of the motor will be approx 2" longer than the SBC, which actaully helps things like crossmember to damper clearence."
