  1. I think it looks great... If you do make a few of these, I would gladly take one, and I know of at least one other person that would too.
  2. I bought the line from the place below; they included the correct 'BSPT to NPT' adapter AND a distribution block. (Oil feed line and Pressure sender) JGS Click on 'Turbo and Accessories' and they also have a restrictor on there site too.
  3. I love those wheels... I plan on getting those in flat black on my yellow Z. If you like the bronze, there is a set for sell in the classifieds section.
  4. Nice... Need some video's of that! This gives me inspiration of finishing my Z...
  5. Showing a little from my build... I was a little anal and used the factory hold downs also. The fuel rail does come close to the thermostat housing, but a 45* turn solved that for me... Braap - I really like the looks of the quality from the rails shown. My rail took quite a bit of massaging... looking towards your rail if do begin to produce. (For another build)
  6. Well, I can not top all the Information you guys have with the SR-71's paint, but I might have something close... Sport Compact Car had an article with some Dyno Plots and showing a few different scenarios of; What effect Spray Painting the Intercooler might have in a real world situation. As some stuff SHOULD work in theory, it sometimes doesn’t turn out that way. I will try to dig up the magazine, but if someone else read this, please chime in.
  7. +1 Here is a link to the wiring Diagram for your car... 280z Diagram
  8. Hey Sparky, I will be the same boat your in; hopefully in a few weeks! Just need to finish installing my EZ-wiring kit and finish up the Haltech. But anyways... These links helped me figure out and cleared up the confusion I had about the "Dizzy Setup." Hope this helps; Also, if you do get any maps, could you send them my way too? http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=85567&highlight=wires+e6k http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=84491&highlight=wires+e6k
  9. As for the catch can idea; I bought a cheap catch can off of Ebay, Drilled a hole in the top center. (for a breather filter) Routed the other two holes to the block and valve cover. You could even use Braided Line. Looks nice and pretty. : ) Didn't want a filter to get oil every where. Also the catch can was something like $25 and is polished.
  10. Hey at least your Engine is running.... : ( I just went over to that block due to the availability of NPT items.(ie my oil sending unit, oil line) You can pick that block up for a couple of bucks; Your local speed shop might have it too.
  11. Here's a picture... It's was at night...
  12. Geez, I am a moron. I didn't realize your were asking a question in your earlier post; I thought you were just stating some part numbers. From Summit Racing... Auto meter # ATM-2269 1/8 bspt-1/8 NPT http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=ATM%2D2269&N=115&autoview=sku Nitrous Oxide Systems(NOS) # 16775NOS 1/8 NPT Block http://www.holley.com/16775NOS.asp
  13. I painted my Z Vivid Canary Yellow. It's bright, Perfect, I think... : ) I am doing Yellow on Black wheels. I think it looks great. Here's a picture of the wheels I plan on running soon.

  16. This is what I did... I will take some pictures and get part numbers when I get home... 1 fitting that is 1/8 BSPT to 1/8 NPT... Then a 1/8 NPT block; with two female inlets and one male output to insert into the BSPT to NPT adapter. It's only two fittings and solves the problem...
  17. In MD, For Historic Tags; There is just a limit on the amount of mileage a year. Something like, 2500. But I don’t see how they can check that. I had historic tags for about 2 years and not once, was I asked about mileage. I assume the Hot Rod tags are the same. Oh, and after 25 years old, (on Historic/Hot Rod Tags) you are emissions exempt.
  18. Cought this real late. I hope this has not ended, since I just paid through PayPal.
  19. Great... After reading all this I don't even want to 'start' my Z with the new Spec Stage 3 clutch in it. Blower... I put the new clutch in maybe two months ago and still haven’t started the car, but now after reading all this, it scares me... I don't know if I should keep it since it's already in there? (Don’t want it destroying my Pretty aluminum flywheel) Or should I look at something else...
  20. I like it for some reason. Maybe because it's different. I have the MSA Air dam and am starting to slowly dis-like it.
  21. To be a little more specific; I am installing Haltech and going to use the Stock Distributor off of my 82 turbo engine. Take the wheel out of a 300zx Distributor and place that in the 82 Distributor. The 300zx wheel gives the Haltech a 'Home' signal.
