  10. I want the speedhut gauge face with the reverse glow working. Well my car is a 1970 series 1 240z and it seems to have a bunch of 1 off parts that are alway a PITA for modification. Below are pictures of my speedo; its hard to see the stop pin in the middle of the 20mph callout.
  11. Ok so i got a set of Speedhut gauge faces to install onto my stock gauges. The question is about the Speedhut speedometer gauge face. The stock metal gauge face has a very thin pin at the start that prevents the needle from going anti-clockwise past 20mph. The Speedhut speedometer gauge face does not have a hole for this needle. Do i simply break the needle off and install the Speedhut gauge face over the stock one or do i have to make a hole in the speedhug gauge face for the stopper pin to come through the speedhut gauge face thanx for the help John
  12. The most important question is....How much did you pay for it?
  13. Just post a wanted ad in the "Parts Wanted" section of the forum. I have had a lot of luck finding rather rare parts for my car this way. Also most people on the forum are very reasonable on pricing and will not take over charge for a part or shipping. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/forum/73-parts-wanted/
  14. Well I recently bought a grant mahogany steering wheel for my car would think it looks awesome. I am now looking for a shifter knob that matches the steering wheel. 16. Like everyone else on the forum I want to stuff the widest possible rim under my car with the widest possible tire on it. But this got me thinking are wider tires always the best way? And how do the effect the handling, fuel economy, safety, etc etc…. Since i started this thread; I'd like to use my car as the example: 1970 240z with ZG flares and coil over suspension(No camber). L24 motor with racing cam Borg warner T5 R200 4.11 diff No power steering I am looking into putting a set of 15x10 rims with -44 offset on the car with 245/50/15 on the fronts and 275 or 295/50/15 on the rear.
