  1. I'm sorry but....ROFLMAO !!!....that is hillarious..... as long as it wasn't me....
  2. I think that is the closest thing I've seen to a riced up Corvette....
  3. Seen this yet? Type R heaven
  4. Looks like something Tim Allen would do..
  5. What do you get when you cross a rich guy with no driving talent? Ouchie
  6. My thoughts are with all of you...
  7. That is hillarious.... A real live Beverly Hillbilly... What a dope...
  8. Here is the guys page, I believe. quite a few broken links on it, but its there... TurboHawk here is a funny clip... Funnny...
  9. I saw that the other day....funny...
  10. Dunno if this helps, but when I bored my L28 .020 over and put flat-tops in it, It did not like the factory EFI settings. To correct the problem I opened up the AFM (not just the adjustment screw) and did some adjustments there. Worked great. Now on the turbo l28 its gonna be trickier, as Sleeperz stated, because the computer will try to compensate for the changes you make...theoretically..
  11. $111 ?.. Ouch. Makes me wonder If I want a newer V8 in my Z..
  12. Is it a stationary or spring loaded idler?.. Spring loaded = probably shot. Stationary = readjustment needed.
  13. I found a '75 280Z the other day. It runs, chokes down when you hit the gas...easy fix, but no need since the Chebby is going in there. There is a little bondo on the hatch. Frame rails, battery tray and floor pans look good. Hatch is no problem, it comes off when I cut off the whole top . I needed the 280 model since I am going with fuel injection and all the return lines are there. The car is dirty, but in pretty good shape, All for $400. I think i'll go give the guy a deposit to hold it, since I am low on cash for building the new house. but I don't want the car to get away, these things are getting hard to find. BTW what are the major differences between 1975 and 1978 models...besides the hatch area?
  14. Hey guys, I ran across a site that you may want to look into if you want a Ford crate engine....even the supercharged lightning engine.. Here
  15. Hey grumpy..wasn't that 290 hp on the 302 underrated??....
  16. I was thinking today, about the LSD from the infinity and other pulled rear ends.. The LSD's were designed for whatever particular car. Which all of them, I believe, weighs more than the Z's. Wouldn't that mean you would have to alter the rear end to compensate for the lessened weight of the Z's???? If the clutch type are set at a certain break point, wouldn't you have to put different springs in it to work correctly?? or is everyone using viscous type LSD's?
  17. That Holley setup looks nice If I were to build a setup, I would like to have a FI 327, and a T56 behind it. I could probably save some money (possibly) building my own 327 and adding the holley setup...then get the T56..All of this of course depends on the $$$. I want a revving engine, either the chebby 302 or 327 looks the best for that type setup. I found a site that spec's out GM's exact formula for the original 302. I may go by it...except for the extremely high CR..I want it on pump gas.
  18. Hey grumpy, you have a link to the holley stealth ram? I'd like to take a look at it.. Holleys site is all goofed up, displaying a bunch of dead links...
  19. That ramjet does set up there pretty high. I want to use the stock hood. The LT1 may be the best way to go. Just pull the eng/tranny/elect out of the fbody and go with it... You guys that are running LT1's, have they given you many problems?..
  20. I guess we posted at the same time grumpyvette. I like the ramjet 350.. little pricey but I may have to go that route. Will the T56 bolt up to it?? Also, is there a dyno sheet anywhere on that engine to see the torque and hp curves?
  21. I would consider an LS1 or the LT1 as well as the other SBC, I just want the best setup for the 300+ HP range... Whatever is going to cause me the least amount of grief..
  22. Looks great, nice to see the new pics. I remember asking you a while back about the taillights, I was thinking about using 240sx lights or the 300's lights as you have. You have done a great job. I don't think there is too much space in the rear but a couple of small horizontal vents might break it up a bit.. Is that gas tank lid off a Kawasaki???
  23. OK, I've been spoiled. I love fuel injection. When I do my V8 swap with a 6 speed, I want it to be FI. Question is, the LT1 has its shortcomings (opticrap ign, water pump failures)...and the LS1 is not as documented as far as swaps go. Is there a good older style SBC that is FI or added without costing an arm and three legs, and that is over the 300 hp range, that will work with the T56? I would prefer to have a pulled engine or crate...I don't want the spend the time on the engine...enough will be spent on the car itself..
  24. Holy crap! What does it weight...900 lbs? Talk about insane...
