  1. wht86 turbo, a buddy of mine use the ct26 on a 3litre (L30et) and at 13lb boost, he put down 275rwhp..12.6 in the quarters in a 71' 510
  2. comp: 50 a/r housing/ 60 trim wheel turbine: 63a/r housing / stage 5 wheel should i go with 60a/r housing or stay with 50a/r. it's gonna be a custom turbo built by innovative turbo systems. looking to make 350-400 rwhp at 18-20 psi boost. any other thoughts of turbo sizes is welcome also. also, i was thinking of: t3/t04r kahuna, t3/gt35r. help me choose one...
  3. maybe when the motor was put together, the timing chain wasn't set right ...skipping a couple of tooths will also no start your car.. my 2 cent.

  8. anyone on this board mated a WCT5 to the L28et motor? either ford mustang or chevy camaro tranny. what's all the modifications i would have to do to mate the WCT5 to L28et motor...ie. clutch disk, slave cylinder, drive line, tranny X-member, bell housing, any adapter plates use.
  9. Fronts: 16x7 (+25) offset Rears: 16x8 (+26) offset the wheels are JDM Watanabe RS-8 (3 piece wheels), question is... will these wheels fit on a 240z with stock strut housing??
  10. evildky, how do you like the ka tranny? does it really handle more torque/hp versus xz 5 speed..
  11. sorry if this is a repost... between the n/a 5 speed, T5, and the KA tranny off of a 240sx. it's for a turboz L28et... for those who has the kA in their l28et,, how much ftlb of torque are you guys pushing??? without breaking it...the reason is i've gone thru 2 n/a 5 speeds already and this is the 3rd one on my Z.. i've heard the KA will fit on the z motor with changing the bell housing and shortening of the driveshaft an inch. i've spoken to the guy in Fremont, CA that does the bell housing swap already, but how really much stronger is the KA vs. a T5.. i'm hopping the KA will handle roughly 350-450 ftlb of torque... what do you fellas think

  13. i ran a n42 , but relocated the head temp sensor since the n42 didn't have one. ran it to the coolant thermo housing. also used a 2mm hg to lower compression to 7.8:1,,, with a 1mm hg, it's like 8.5:1... my n42 had a hair line crack between the #6 valve seats, but i didn't care and put it on anyways.. lasted for a while, then got worser and coolant was leaking into the combustion chamber. then went back to the p90 head
  14. between the R200's= 3.54, 3.70, 3.90... which is better for a turbo Z in the 1/4 mile????
  15. all of the sudden my parking lights and instrument panel lights aren't working anymore. if i turn it to the parking position ...it keeps on blowing out the 20amp fuse??? can i put a toggle switch in place of the stock switch and turn on my lights from there???? and how is the lighting wires routed???? for example: battery=fuse panel=column switch=lights or which way is right?? and where can i put the toggle switch ??? your help is greatly appriciated.....
  16. is 18 gauge steel good for making turbo headers??? would it crack.... strenght????
  17. i am using a six puck/ sprung hub with ceramic buttons, stock fly and pressure plate. been driving for 2 years and no signs of slippage. the car dynoed at 290ftlb of torque on pumped gas. hope this helps you out some.
