  1. try the aeromotive one... part# AEI-11101. thispump flows 500lbs./hr. at 12 volts and 45 psi, it can support up to 1000 hp. summit sales it for $289.88

  4. lockjaw, my rev limiter on msd6al is set at 7k and i'm not using the 280zxt ecu. it's a 79 ecu..but thanks for all your info.
  5. no you don't have to take the oil pan off but you may have to undo the motor mount bolts and lift the engine up couple inches to get the oil pump out. because the swaybar is in the way.
  6. i was thinking on going that route a while back too...... just lagging because my stock 79 efi on my l28et motor suits my needs fine right now.
  7. jwink25, no he didn't give any but did say stock turbo will pull up to 5500 only. his cam will pull easily up to 8000 with no problem and that i will notice a big increase in performance.
  8. mack, thanks for replying. i thought no one would reply. bill gude of gude cams said this is a very good cam for the l28et. if you like more info on the 245 turbo cam he sales, he is his number 909-244-3533. call him and ask him ALL your questions and let me know. he is selling a package it includes cam, springs, lash pads, and retainer for $400
  9. stock compression on turbo motor is 7.4:1 what compression would i get if i put a n42 head on a f54 turbo block..... i was told like 9:1, is that true?
  10. 87 and 89 300zxt is clutch pack type, the 88 300zxt is like the quaife unit... am i right?
  11. anybody on hybridz using their 245 turbo cam? specs are 520lift- 268duration-112degree center lobes. he said he's been doing this for over 30 years and said this is the cam to go for...... what do you all think of this cam..

  14. speeder, i'm going with a web cam and springs/retainer from top end motorsports in hollywood. from my encounters the web cam is the cam to go with. i've got a friend that expieremented several cams and he liked the web cams better and screen name sss510 that post on here said he loves the web cam too. so, i think i'm going that route.

  16. cool, you've got to put in the fmic and crank up the boost 4-5 more psi.

  18. i can get a hold of a r230lsd and cv shafts off of a Q45.. i'll trade for r200 lsd off of 87-89 300zx turbo, or toyota 4-piston brake upgrade. must be all NEW everything to go on my 72 240zt front brakes. calipers vented 300zx rotors spacers pads hubs EVERYTHING I'LL NEED FOR THE CONVERSION........

  21. try cleaning the posts on the battery and connectors
  22. would the stock srings handle a 488 lift cam?
  23. to control my fuel system only, i'm not using the crank angle sensor or the detnation sensor
