  11. i'm thinking about buying some centerline wheels (mojave). 16x7 w/4" backspacing in front and 16x8 w/5" backspacing in rear. my question is will the 5" backspacing in the rear w/ some 215/45/16 clear my 72 240zt rear strut housing???
  12. compressor: .70 A/R, 60 trim wheel turbine: .48ar,.63ar,.82ar w/ 76trim stage lll turbine wheel my question is what's all the .48,.63,.82A/R turbine housing is?????? it all fits a 76 trim stage lll turbine wheel, right? are these the turbine size housings? if so, what's the benefit of the larger housings (.82) vs .63 vs .48 A/R. please someone explain to me the differences.....
  13. i own a 72' 240ZT, the car alone weighs at 2380 and with me at 2500lbs.
  14. on my z is the turbo motor (p90 head & f54 turbo block). i want some opinions on this and why you prefer that head.... 1. i am thinking about getting a full port & polish & valve job done on the head. i've already bought some performance springs/ retainers and a web cam already. 2. i have the choice of doing the work on a p90 or n42 head. 3. i know the compression on the n42 on my turbo block is going to be 8-8.5:1 compression vs p90 7.4:1 4. tell me why you would choose that head and why... need expert advice please.
  15. fmu and rrfpr is the same.... and yes you use it in conjunction with a fpr, but to my knowledge, the return fuel line goes thru the fmu (rrfpr) only.
  16. lookon the back of the calipers, if it's s12, it sould work with stock rotors (solid rotors). if it's s12w, you need 300zx rotor
  17. 300zx na didn't come with vlsd, it's oped diff. only 87-89 300zx turbo's came with lsd units.
  18. anyone got pix and articles on porting and polishing, also valve job. thanks...
  19. bay zt, my mods are... stock long block t3t4 35lb injectors 1/2" steelbraided fuel line from tank to customs rail 60mm tb aeromotive fpr cartech rrfpr fmu 944t fmic w/ 2.5 plumbing 3"dp and exhaust stock 79 ecu and turbo afm w/ 79 guts transferred to turbo afm r200..390 open i know for a fact that if the bosche bov (plastic) wasn't leaking, i would of gottened more hp that that run.
  20. 72 240zt w/ 81 turbo motor... 15psi dynoed at 240rwhp and 290 ftlb torque. that was the rwhp with my bosche bov with a major leak. today i'll put in a turbo xs bov and dyno it again in the near future.
  21. i've beaten...... 1. civic hatchback w/ gsr motor 2. honda S2000 3. 2003 mustang gt 4. civic hatchback w/ built B16, forge pistons, stand alone efi, 550cc, huge fmic, and ct26 turbo (90 supra turbo).
  22. it you're using the stock t3 turbo, it will run out of breath before your goal hp. now, lets say on a t3t4 turbo., you'll get there...
