Found a Subaru LSD R180. Wonder if it would work in the 720 case?

I bought a set of CF door panels from Pete. Top notch. However I do not think he had enough business to continue. I will approach him later concerning my KGC10 panels. Something to think about is turn around time vs. price.
My 71 pedal works with the stock KA throttle cable. I took the mechanical linkage assy off. There is an opening on the top of the pedal. Slide the cable in and bolted the guide to the firewall. There is a plastic locker that will keep the cable in place on the pedal. Right length for my Sr. Not sure if the KA throttle body is equal distance or not.
It is a R180 short nose from a 180sx. Not sure if the LSD would fit a Long nose R180. If possible I would love to use a 4.10 Nissan truck gears with this type of LSD in my r180 long case. Probably will not all work together cause that would be too easy. Unfortunately I do not have all the parts sitting in front of me to check out. Maybe some one else here has tried it or can explain why it wouldn't work.
I pulled a 4.10 from the 720 yesterday and plan on using it in my SR swap. This really got my attention. Price isn't bad considering brand new parts and modern design. If you get this please post how it installs and works out for you.
I wouldn't say the officiatating was that bad. However I will be surprised if Rivers is not fined for the flagerant unprofessionalism he continues to display. Screaming matches on the sidelines with fans of the opposing teams is generally not for quarterbacks. Besides they have no chance of continuing past next week anyways. Even if the Qb and Rb position was healthy. Go Packers....But it is fairly certain the Pats will set the new standard.
Nice find. It is pretty common to find these sizes in the Watanabes. However the Hayashi and SSR rims are super rare and prices for those are preety fair. I bought a set of 16x10.5 j rears in the SSR mesh as I could not find a set of the XR4's big enough. Guess I did not wait long enough. Damn..
Alot of the 4.xx LSD nissan diffs come from the FJ20 powered skylines. The rear disc brakes can fit the z car as well as the entire drivetrain. Not very popular but the FJ can put out big power.
I run a 295/50 from BF Goodrich on my rear 16's. Fits the 10.5jj just fine. Got them from tire shoppe in the vendor's forum. Great price, period correct and readily available.
Here is an early type 1 for sale...http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b80209856
Maybe you could also get these to provide some more power as well..http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m45797884
I am familiar with an early HKS plenum that had 2 downward facing intakes. Obviously for twin turbo setups. However the type 2 plenums were all forward facing. The type 2 plenums are the better performing plenums. SKS and early HKS plenums are about the same in price. Type 2 plenums are a little more pricey. All can be found over on yahoo with some regularity. Easiest way to search is L (gata). Have to be able to type the gata part in japanese characters though....
In a morbid sense of relief I felt better after my area would get hit. Usually they never hit anything important or kill anyone....But it meant we would get to fire back. With counter battery radar aiding our efforts we could deliver more damage with our howitzers than their pop shots.
However be safe
I sold mine already to another member here. I know Tony D has a couple of these. I helped him get a piece he needed to complete his Type 2 plenum. hit him up. You might get lucky...
I am thinking the disc rotor offset wouldn't be a problem. If the brackets are to square up the rotor and caliper from the 240sx. The bolt on Q45 caliper and rotor should fit right up. Curious if the caliper clears.
I searched around for a post containing someone who has done both the 240sx rear brake and 5 lug conversion from MMS. Curious if the Q45 brake upgrade that the 240sx crowd does will work out. Logically I would think it would but wanted to make sure. Anybody tried this and I missed the thread?
Nice 5 pice kit. I also got my body kit from yahoo auctions. Had to have mine repacked into 3 smaller boxes to clear post office regulations. The 5 piece kit is alot better kit for fitting. More area for adjustment. I got a busted 1 piece from another member and it was a bear to put back together and fit. Please keep us updated..
Speed Factory is good people. Very geijin friendly also. I remember they use to have a pretty mean GTR that was a pinkish color. Only pink car I would have driven and not cared what anybody thought.
Great find. I will have to warn you about covering your car in a tarp like that. Acts as a greenhouse and actually traps moisture in with the car. Seen this mistake over and over again especially in the south. Your car will rott away faster like this than if it was uncovered. I know of a shop in Ishikawa that use to do all my paint jobs for me. Real good and loves doing older metal. I can find his contact info somewhere if you are interested..
I am adamently against GTR badging on non cars. Hate it. I believe I am the only Hakosuka owner stateside who doesn't try to pass their car off as a GTR. Anyways yes the fender flairs look good on the 4dr but I wouldn't cut the car to make them fit. Unless you take the car all the way to the track car look.
