  8. BJHines, I've studied your airbox before, and want to make something similar. It looks very close to the strut tower, have you found any signs of it making contact as the engine torques over? I'd like mine about that size, for plenum volume and stack length.
  9. Actually, I meant glare from the gauge faces. I wouldn't expect much glare with the brushed aluminum, especially not if you cover it in suede. I'm thinking about doing a similar thing using a dash half-cap and alcantera.
  10. $1350.01 I've watched The Price is Right a few times...j/k
  11. Ernie, I found another copy of that article. If you PM me your address, I'll send it.
  12. No problem Ernie. Like I said, it will be a bit, everything is packed in boxes in my trailer, waiting for the big trip out west. I have a '94-ish JCR catalog, and it is the same as what is posted on their website now. That site is a pain to navigate BTW. My dad didn't even recognize the JCR bodykit I bought, and that was why he bought that magazine originally!
  13. For the price you can probably snatch those up for, I'd grab now, ask q's later. Any rare special model of <100 typically commands $$$ for parts.
  14. Nice! And it will weigh next to nothing. I usually question why people want to screw with the Z's already cool dash, but I like yours alot already. One issue I see you having is glare, but maybe you can use that stick on stuff they have for monitors.
  15. RacerX, I happened upon that Vette a few months ago at a car show in Ohio. It was down the street from the family picnic I was at. At the end of the line of cars was that beast. It is even more intimidating in person.
  16. RacerX, cool! I have an old HotRod of my dad's I found years ago that details the making of the original car that the Cal Z fenders were splashed from. It has a step by step of making the whole car, including whaletail. Pretty damn cool actually, just welded on another set of fenders and quarters 4" out. They also did a B210 and Lil Hustler. I'll scan it too, but it might be a month until I can do it.
  17. Sweet 510! What- no links or info?!? I see Brembos, a Mazdaspeed sticker, and an afterburner... I want details!
  18. I just keep finding more and more at that site! I read it for 3 solid hours yesterday. I learned some useful aerodynamics tech on size and shape of radiator/intercooler ducting too. I plan on applying some of this to my truck's intercooler. Thanks again.
  19. One option for hotter cams might be Paeco. They deal in just about anything foreign, and do custom welded/reground cams too. Prices seem to hover between $200-250 per cam for regrinds. I've kept their catalog handy for 10yrs or so, and now you can DL a pdf. It has a section with all the various motors and approx HP ratings at their stage 1,2,3, etc build levels. It's good for seeing if a motor has any real performance potential.
