  1. well, we fit the t3/t04b in an 86 300zxt with a 88 engine in it. maybe they have different steering setups? no clue, but i do know it fits on this one. we put a single washer under the motor mount and the bolt barely screws on, but thats ok sorry if im not much help tho ^^ turbo stats lol =P -jon
  2. what i'm saying is that (not using both fprs..) may be my problem, or it just may be the fact that i havnt fine tuned my afpr yet. my car doesn't like to idle, and without the vac line hooked up to the afpr it won't rev above 1500 rpm. but yeah, thats why i made the comment, because as far as i knew you just popped it after the rail and that was that. -jon
  3. they're very nice and i would've bought one, but 300$ for a poor kid isn't easy to manage =) but yeah, if he ever makes them again (which i doubt lol). i'm in =P -jon
  4. B housing fits, but you have to put a washer under the motor mount and bend the power steering lines. just a heads up! =) more pics @ http://syntax.untraceable.org/ -jon
  5. ...? ive never heard of that? someone correct me if im wrong lol.. but i just put a rising rate on my car and theres no other fpr in the car. *clueless* lol =P -jon
  6. not necessarily, it could have some nice transitions on the inside, but we'll never know i guess =P
  7. Yes, they're awesome! buy it! =)
  8. but.. but.. thats what its all about. playing with your toys! especially the sexy ones like the rail is =P
  9. firewall. closer to the rail is better, according to juan =P correction: "techincally yes the fpr should be put on the fender but if you are just a mild driver then it wont kill on the firewall."
  10. injector clips can be had on ebay for 20 bucks. dont buy them from msa or anyplace else.. just one big rip off.
  11. lol, i don't know why.. why i think those look decent. im usually the most critical about every little thing. always making fun of the bling bling but sometimes it just works? i dunno.
  12. oddly enough those Zs don't look half bad... someone hit me upside the head please! lol =P
  13. I fondled mine for a long time lol! It goes on friday! Its the last thing I need to have the car running again, thank god! nice work juan =) -jon
  14. 280zx please =) and make some fenders, doors, hatch etc.. haha in my dreams?
  15. lol.. that doesnt look *HORRIBLE* -- definately not what i would want, but it doesnt really look nasty like a lot of ricers end up with.
  16. why not some 26s? or better yet.. 30s! oh hell, how about a lift kit and some mudding tires? sounds like a good idea to me? </SARCASM>
  17. my headlights are... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33710&item=7912887409 if you are reffering to mine =P if not, ignore this hehe spork, mine didnt fit *CORRECTLY* if you wanna call it that, they did have to be tilted a bit, but whoopty f***ing doo lol i'd say mine took me like 5 minutes to install? of course i have half of my engine gone so nothing was in the way hehe
  18. hard to tell with the dirty headlight covers, but i like these quite a bit...
  19. Ok cool, thanks for the info. I'm going to put everything back together pretty much stock. Minus most of the emissions that is =) Almost back together, all I got left to get is injector bases, fuel rail, and some hose! =) thanks again, -jon
  20. Ok basically I'm getting ready to do the vacuum lines and such to my n42 NON-EGR (this means no more emissions) intake manifold. I was dumb when taking everything apart and didn't label anything but wiring. So now I've had to take the time to go through and figure out what everything is and what it does (not such a bad thing in the end..). Anyway, my first major question is about the 'heater block,' a hose (1) runs out of the thermostat housing (A).. and runs into the throttle body inlet ( then another hose (2) runs out of the throttle body outlet © to a block of sorts with a sensor in it (it sits under the air regulator). Then it proceeds to another hose (I don't have a picture of the actual hose but you'll see what I'm talking about - 3). Then it runs around the head and down into a heater line that runs into the cabin. Now the question is... Do I need this to have a heater? What sensor is this in picture #3? (its the purple arrow). I can't find the sensor in the damn haynes manual. All of the Z-car manuals seem to have everything but what my car has lol! =/ Ok, I know all the images, blah blah.. but I need to figure all of this out lol.. I'm keeping the stock throttle body until I can get a spacer from JSK. I know that there is a idle screw and what not on the side of the stock (W24) manifold.. I'm not really sure if I need to put it back on.. If so, how and where? On the n42 intake manifold there is no place to bolt it on. Random Questions: Is the Air Regulator actually needed? -Why? What does the front of the Air Regulator hook into? Where does the dizzy vacuum advance hook up? -Intake manifold? I'm keeping the PCV system intact.. that is until my uncle comes up to Dallas in two weeks. Hes got a spare vacuum pump that he wants to hook up to it *GRIN* -- wonder if this is going to help me out much? As I type this I'm starting to fall asleep (4:30am), so it just gets less understandable as I go. Anyone whose done this intake mani swap and is willing to talk to me via aim or just post, please do. I hope to have to car running this next weekend (not likely, but I'd like to be as close as possible). Thanks -Jon
