  1. And I thought he meant electric. I heard a 5 mile trip, sounds perfect.
  2. IIRC the S30's had frames around the windows. That would have to be removed for the t-tops to work nice IMO.
  3. Yeah, just ship that turbo to me. I'm an authorized turbo recycler
  4. What kind of machine work do you need to do these? I may be able to help out some.
  5. You got or sign backwards, I hope. Most people want more than 90 hp.
  6. Several people on here recommend them. I know grumyvette is one.
  7. The shrouds got in my way, off they go. I would keep the old belts so you can match with the new ones. I had some problems w/ my alt belt when I replaced it last. Also a back up if a belt disappears on a road trip is nice.
  8. Most of the time I see ZX wheels referenced at+10.
  9. Hope your wife is OK. How old is the townhouse? Check the elec. codes regarding GFI's in the circuits. It's petty to sue for the A/C adapter, but make sure the medical stuff is good and covered. Regarding the McD's. I still think it's poo-poo. I dumped shortening ( far hotter than water can get) on my foot and barely got a blister because I took care of it right away. Both major injuries I have seen from hot water are because they weren't taken care off immediately.
  10. I assume you have seen sir_daniel's car? http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=129147 Otherwise the spare tire area?
  11. What compression are you at? From what I read that would be mid-high 8's ( I think) which is still ok for F.I. Along with Braap and jmortensen, I would then look at the intake manifold next. The stock EFI one is the next restriction.
  12. A big twin screw should answer those problems
  13. I like the other way around, He was looking for good power right
  14. First i'd ditch the stock efi. then start with yasins list
  15. It must be a tough business. Z fiberglass is looking to get out, among several other failed attempts that I can think of. I'm not saying don't do it, just it must be hard.
  16. Look into what big phil and garret have. Both are reasonable builds with good power.
  17. Tony, or anyone. What kind of heat issues is Frank looking at? Would it need to be intercooled? Or is the supercharger not working that hard? I guess I understand that alot has to deal with how much boost each stage is running. I was hope for a little more insight on the heat stuffs.
  18. And now I feel left out http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=130251&page=2

    wooden dash?

Here is the company that makes the system.. http://www.incra.com/

    wooden dash?

For the most part you can do a plain edge to edge glueing with the correct glue. Biscuits would be ok to do, but you need a certain amount of wood to hold it and not crack. Dovetails would be a royal pain in the rear, but I could show you a device that does awesome dovetail work.
  21. Are you thinking of putting that in backwards? Normally there is no engine up front on those
  22. That is true, but some people were guessing that you might have a short in the cig. lighter wiring. Check that before using it.
  23. I'm usually anti-sony I would think they would just make blu-ray players with standard dvd and cd lasers in them so they can play all. I mean I'm pretty sure dvd's have a different laser for cd's. I can't count how many times I've had a drive play one and not the other.
  24. I spent many years on a Nacra 5.7, one of the faster sail boats that size. My problems with the mono hulls of that size are the weight. My dad's compaq 19' is about 2500lbs alone. The the trailer to hold that and any other thing you want to take with you. If you can sleep on it, you start to take camping weekends. Then you almost need full size trucks to tow it, and last a long time. Maybe a trimaran would be a good thing to look into....
  25. Yeah, don't trust those 25 yr old gages to accurate. If a battery is partly dead, I have had them engage the starter and keep it engaged but not turn the engine. But then again they normally have enough power to run the car then. Still test the battery with a DMM.
