  2. here's Jeffp's answer. http://www.angelfire.com/extreme/280zxt/page24.html
  3. I didn't see it on hybrid, but It's on zcar. http://www.zcar.com/forums/read/4/1917827
  4. That's one of my top color schemes. Looks pretty good.
  5. Keep in mind both are very hard on your pads and not needed.
  6. If you have a little spare time and money, I'd Megasquirt it. Skip the stock ECU.
  7. I'm tempted for this, maybe even run a transaxel to get the motor farther back. Line the hatch floor with solar panels to help recharge while at work. But batteries just don't cut it in the cold up here.
  8. If I remember the donation laws correctly, the charity sells the car and then gives you a receipt for the actual amount sold. That is what you take off on your taxes. Money wise you always get more by selling it. I think the car has a better chance of survival if it goes to a person. Unless you find a charity that teachs people to fix cars.
  9. Dang, I'm sorry I missed your reply's to this thread. Now that it's nice we are starting to get out more. try http://www.zcarchat.com for club stuff.
  10. I'ld look more at the cfm of the units than the Liters. Off hand I think that that could be fine depending on the pulley size and boost levels you wanted.
  11. I've been a fan of the corolla/prisms. upper 30's to 40 on the freeway. My friend has a 2000 auto w/OD. It's been good for him.
  12. I was looking into an ad seen on zcar for a zxr whaletail. http://www.zcar.com/forums/read/12/1915590 and what do I see trolling the shed tonight.... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=132922. Both with the same pictures of it in front of the shed. His reply to my email asking if he had it was.. "the spoiler came off a 1979 zx, so it will fit 79- 83 zx.it will need new studs to reatach to deck as old ones broke off at some point. doesn't look too hard to figure out how to do. 50 bucks plus shipping from 12603 takes it. thanks, mike xd" Can anyone confirm this guy is legit? or do I run? Thanks
  13. No bird! And not much pinstripping. I'm not sure I would trust the org. paint he claims. Those aren't the rims I remember, but I'm not an expert on these.
  14. If you rent a spot, check with the owner about welding there. Don't forget fire safety.
  15. Centrifugal supercharger in the exhaust. Problem solved.
  16. This has a few other options, depending on when you need them. I know TTT has good stuff.
  17. 27mm, but I'm able to spin the engine by the damper by hand with all the plugs out.
  18. There was decidedly something not right with your break system. New fluids and different pads would prob'ly do it.
  19. The areo test clearly show that those wings work, and work good. But from the looks of that car, that isn't the type of help it needs driving.
  20. I haven't seen Dell use any proprietary motherboards in their main systems for at least 5 years. I bet it's a BTX motherboard. Harder to find the ATX, but they are out there. Just the case & MB manufactures didn't want to use Intel's superior layout, well because it was Intels. Hasn't Dell owned Alienware for more than 2 years?
  21. Shift and Careless have very good starts on what to check. The Bios battery is a good place to start. If you report back what did what we can tell you some more steps.
  22. I've read a couple of eg33 turbo threads, it's not that bad to do. The EG and EJ's are similar, but you still want check what works and what doesn't. Not everything does. The SVX's only came in auto, and it wasn't built to handle the NA engine even, They go out all the time. Maybe some of the manual EA boxes fit up? and can have the front's welded up. I don't really recall those details.
