  1. After seing this earlier this afternoon, I contacted the one and only company utilizing this method in San Diego for more info. It was mentioned to me that they blast at around 125psi, if memory serves me correctly, sand blasting requires 90ish psi and not so good for thin s30 metal. I'm sure the dry ice gives more than sand, but thats some force behind it.
  2. Looks like you scored a really clean, good foundation 240z, congrats. Looking forward to future updates.
  3. Was this car painted with a custom invisible paint job? I no can see...
  4. "paulo just isnt someone to buy from that simple. It would be great if a mod could give him "the boot" like justin since he cant make quality parts, has no phone number that works (one on site wasnt working a few weeks ago when i tried it), and seems to "avoid" getting things settled". Best suggestion yet!!!
  5. Juan,

I tried to find the ad Austin had for this dp, but had no luck. I did however come across one post he stated I believe the flange is from a ford 3 bolt wastgate housing. I believe he was using a t3/t4 turbo when he made this. Honestly, I'm not interested in parting out this kit as it will do me no good to have miscellanious parts leftover that I have no need for. I do know that other flanges can be found online. Maybe this just isn't going to work for your needs.

  6. Hi, you try sending me a pm but my messegebox was full. can you please email me again on what was about?

  7. I have one with minimal miles on it, and DEI heat wrap as well.
  8. "Every time I try it puts me back into a log in.?? " I'm getting the same run around every time I attempt to vote. I just signed up today and have every intention of voting for Blueovalz. Edit: I'm an idiot, figured it out and voted for you...
  9. As mentioned, searching will bring forth the answers, but here is just one freebee example http://www.zspecialties.com
  10. Come to southern California and you will experience EVERY bad driving habit there is on any given day and then some.
  11. Here's the set up I will be running eventually when I get to the assembly stage of my build. I bought this intercooler from Austin after he parted out his l28et gear, and I also snatched up his turbo and downpipe. The lower intercooler pipe actually routes below the front core support as shown in the provided pic's. Might be an option for you as well....
  12. You can buy directly from Autopower in San Diego, no need for the middle man. Are you specifically trying to find a used one?
  13. Streeteg, Your interior looks great. Any chance you know if this alcantera is uv protected, as I have been warned about some micro suedes tend to fade with sunshine? I will end up covering my doors and possibly dash depending on budget...
  14. I think if you are willing to spend the time/money and effort, you should go right ahead and do this. I am by no means a purist and also like the 350z interior and think this would look great swapped. With that being said, I have certainly seen the 350 interior swap done on an s30, (look through MSA Z car nationals photo's for a visual) and have no idea the size differences or restraints the s130 would have as I neither own one or have seen this done. My suggestion would be to measure and research as much as possible. If you do decide to do it, document and share pics of your process....
  15. JKGTS1, What is the plans with the tubing in the engine bay? any more shots of that?
  16. I just keep looking at your build with shear delight, and absolutely can not wait for a proper video of this beast. I instantly associate your project with the rat fink logo, smoke billowing out the back and all. Looking forward to finally of this build....
  17. The z32 dash as you mentioned as well as the 240sx dash swap involves lots of cutting, fabrication and measuring, not exactly a simple swap. I think they look great but can be pricey to have done if your not planning on doing this yourself. I like the looks and layout of the last gen fd3s rx7, nice tight cockpit....
  18. Big congrats to you Austin, Putting in the effort and going the extra mile does pay off for those that are deserving.
  19. I lean towards the soda blasting option myself. I have been quoted $1100 or so for a complete exterior door jambs including doors, hood etc... Eastwood is one company of many that sell these blasters as well as dual soda/sand blaster. One option would be to buy, use and then sell the blaster when finished. Another possibility would be to contract a soda blast company to do your car and other friends cars if applicable for a combo reduced overall price.
  20. I just wanted to express my personal experiences dealing with paulo. Back when he first came on to the scene here at Hybrid making it known the services and products he could provide, I contacted him via pm and decided to take a chance by "loaning my Jim Cook low profile rear spoiler" so he could add this to his products list. I never got to meet him in person, just dropped off the spoiler to what seemed to be a competent body parts/automotive shop in Chula Vista. I was in no rush and made that clear from the begining however weeks/ months go by with no word from Paulo. After several emails go by without a response, I go to the shop and talk with someone who informs me that paulo is only there every so often and works from Ensenada, Mexico. I left instructions for him to contact paulo and bring my part back to the shop at a later date. I returned to the shop the following week and received my spoiler with out so much as a thanks, while he squandered an opportunity to make a cf example from this. I consider myself lucky to have gotten back the spoiler and walked away with a little lesson on trust. I figured it was just my bad luck or turn of events, but later saw all the same symptoms others were experiencing. I hope everyone gets what has been promised to them, and know that I will never do business with him again. Just my 2 cents worth...
  21. I have a Jim Cook low profile , new unused. I was planning on applying it to my 73', but went with the bre style instead.
  22. Could they be UK based Image wheels? http://www.imagewheels.co.uk
  23. Video is Hot Version Z Fighter, 2002-12 Volume 59. I was jonesing to get my fix of this bad ass car after youtube removed it, so tracked it down.
  24. Wow, that is a nice setup. I unfortunately am on the multi year build program as well. Is there a documented build sheet with parts/pics ??
