SR20 would easily put out 200hp if it was the SR20DET. There's 500+hp 3SGT engines out there nowadays, dropped into newer Supras and such! There's also 6speed trannys for them, from the S15 I think? For the RB26DETT, how much more do you have to pay for making the mounts etc? $1000 in mods probably would only get you to 400hp? Which is more than enough:) Owen

Your last comment confused me. Go over it with DP48 and then go over it again? I didn't know the DP40s were still available, those are the ones with chrome in them aren't they? I did, DP90 black over bare metal, K36 high solids primer, block sand, DP90 black, and then dark metallic blue. I put the second layer of DP90 on to give the blue a darker appearance. Don't think it's really necessary unless you're worried about adhesion between different layers of paint or unless you want a single color under your top color coat. Owen

I guess a more accurate description would be a safety fuel cell??? When we say fuel cell here, we mean the aftermarket gas tanks which feature more rigid construction, better sumps for picking up fuel, foam inserts to prevent sloshing, etc. Owen

Thanks for the pix, I can't find your part number on their site, maybe it's not made anymore? I wanted to know the dimensions because it looks pretty long. Is there room for a radio? Looks like you lose use of the glove box as well. I did find one place on the net that has it. http://www.sachserodshop.com/catalog/page29.htm But it's just seems too big, the Short Pack unit I linked above is only 16" long and I could probably shove it back against the firewall. We musta been watching the same channel! I immediately searched on this and found nuthing premade for manual trannys. I think Dakota Digital has one for automatics. Anyone who can make one for a manual tranny, please contact me! Off subjet here, but Grant's new RF steering wheel has buttons on it for a variety of functions such as turn sig, wipers, horn, whatever. It would totally eliminate the steering column mounted stalk assy. Too bad I can't use a Grant wheel with my setup... Owen

I wonder if these guys own Racesearch.com too, another 1 - 2 man operation. Took them over a month to get back to me. I ordered + express shipping, nothing came after two weeks, I cancelled, got my credit card billed, made a complaint, and two months after that final got it removed from my bill. Racesearch has really good prices...but no stock. They're just another "shop" on the import tuning bandwagon. Owen
