  1. That engine compartment is to die for. Nice work!
  2. That's reasonable, have you found out a real world price for the waste oil converesion systems?

  5. Not to throw stones at the whole project, but I think your miles per dollar are doing down as this thread gets longer. Might be a good time to do a spreadsheet and crunch some numbers. My two cents.
  6. I have a friend who has a Ford Excursion. He put a chip in it, six inch exhaust, and propane injection. It didn't cost him that much and he now has something like 900 lb/ft of torque. The thing will spin all four tires off the line, with a 4" lift and 35s, and still desecrate any mustang stoplight to stoplight. For more info on diesel power, I might check out http://www.bankspower.com . Not exactly your motor they deal with, but they are the leader in the diesel aftermarket field. Maybe someone in their tech department could help you out, I've heard they're good to work with.
  7. I have an aquiantence who grew up in a small Idaho town, Pocatello, and she said it was a horrible place to grow up unless you are ultra right wing. If you have kids, keep that in mind, unless you're right wing, and then its should be perfect.
  8. If you do a search, there's a pretty lengthy thread about aerodynamics on the early Z body. It looks good, but it's not that effecient.
  9. I just moved to Sacramento from the Easy Bay and it's much cheaper to live up here. There IS rush hour traffic, but it's far better than the bay area any time. Traffic actually moves up here. As far as being a car guy goes, there's Sac Raceway, Infineon/Sears Point, Thunderhill Raceway and we have trees!
  10. The Caliber looks like a Durango that got stuck in the crusher and pulled out once it was the same dimensions as the Matrix. How many cars is Chrysler going to put on that chassis anyway?
  11. Go find a service manual for whatever model you're asking about. That's the only way to be sure. I've never seen one in an S30, and would not like it if it DID have one. I remember almost putting a delivery truck through a wall though becuase I forgot to check if it was in neutral. I was twelve, but still, maybe I should take that back. I think I'm gonna try that Lemans start with my 280, I can't hurt it any worse. Responsibility lies solely on my throttle foot.
  12. Wow, it's cheap to do a smog in Nevada.... Maybe that's why they're such sticklers for old cars. And I thought we had it bad that there was no more rolling 30 cutoff.
  13. In Las Vegas you have to smog all the way back to... I think 67. My dad moved from here to LV and had to start smogging his 69 El Camino.
  14. Davy, you don't have to be a perv to be older and have a myspace. It's the same as having email, only you can personalize it a little more. Gollum, I'm gonna send you a friend add thing. http://www.myspace.com/wingnutthehutt
  15. LMAO! Great, now if only I could talk my roommate into shoving his nova out into the driveway.
  16. I'd take the corvair too, only without the Jag motor. That looks light a super tight fit. Kudos to them though.
  17. Has anyone done that to a Z yet? I thought it'd be a cool swap to do.
