I also work with New Technology teams charged with Product Development & Design. I can honestly say that I've enjoyed the last 32 years and plan on at least 8 more (401k dependent).

The stud is welded in place with the "stud welder." Then the "ding thing" attaches like a pop rivet gun to the stud and allows you to pull the dent out while the ring presses against the surrounding metal. A neat little trick the instructor showed us is that you can "barely" weld the stud in place by applying a quick pull on the trigger and acheive just enough of a bond/weld to pull out the dent. Then you can remove/reuse the stud by taking a pair of diagonal cutters and kind of press and grab hard around the base of the stud to pop it back off. (A little like pulling out nails.) This obviously saves on the studs but also results in very little grinding at the site of the attachment. Hope that helps a little.

I only have Paint Shop Pro and I don't use it often but I can a least give you some idea with this side shot: I think it looks really good! I can't imagine the surprise someone is going to be in for when that little grocery getter is LS2 powered!!!!!

I want to tilt my 240Z shell to fully access the bottom. Once tilted, I plan on completely removing the undercoating, installing Bad Dog frame rails and refinishing the underside. The car does not need floor pans replaced. While surfing on some other auto forums I found these two low dollar car tilters. It looks to me like they're both creative and functional solutions. What are your opinions? Hello, My son and I went to the New York Auto Show yesterday. I thought I'd share some of what we saw. The NIssan GT-R: Pictures do not do this justice. I was on the fence about the design until I saw it in person. Stunning! Audi R8: This is still my favorite. WOW! Drop dead perfect! New Camaro: Since I own a 69, I was anxious to see this in person. I am still not a fan of this car. Side profile is great, the front and back suck! New Solstice: I liked this car very much. Good looks and a lot of fun -pretty cheap. I'm not sure if 500 miles is close or not?? I'm near Lancaster, PA and have a 72 240Z that I might part with. It has a fairly solid body but is not running. Car has an UNCRACKED DASH and nice bumpers. Previous owner pulled front and rear glass but I have them and new OE seals. Clear title in hand. Mull, That's a very good looking setup! I think a 16 inch wheel is perfect for the 240Z. Your project has been such an inspiration to all of us! Thanks for the many extra hours of time you've put into documenting and sharing your world class videos. They are entertaining and educational at the same time. I've watched many of them over and over again!

Congratulations on your 240Z! It looks like your patience paid off. You've got a pretty good loolking car to start from. It's really tough finding decent Zs here in the "Rust Belt" Enjoy!

Not sure where in MD you are but they may not be too far away as they're just outside of Philadelphia in Bristol, Pa. I was planning to use them to source items when I finally get my swap started.
