  1. We look forward to seeing the pic's Mike.
  2. Good choice! with the GT35R IMHO. Clint T
  3. Who's ya daddy? Well done mate - another future Z driver!
  4. Hmmmmm... Good call I am sure that the top part of the manifold will un-bolt from the lower on the RB25, I know there are some companies that make a new top part to convert to front TB, you could make something like that which bolts on to the lower (runner section) of the manifold, this would allow you to re-design the plenum to suit etc, ie tapper off towards the back of the plenum to even up the flow distubution between cyl's (like the plenum on my manifold, see my album) There is that better
  5. Try James Thegard (240z turbo) on this site.
  6. Thats looking good JT, whats the capacity of your sump?
  7. Its just the look i guess, i must admit they do look pretty sexy in the picture on their site Clint T
  8. I am using the R33 RB25DET 5 speed "the big box" they are internally the same as the GTR, but only rear wheel drive of course. These box's are suppose to be good for 500kw. I paid NZ$2,000 for mine, they are quite rare out here, as most the jap import skylines are autos. I squealed when i had to pay that price too, but i shopped around and thats what they're worth.
  9. They look bloody good Rob, nice one, i am guessing that you will weld these to your fabricated steel tube frame? Cant wait to see this come together. Clint T
  10. Arrrrrrrrhhhhhh...........thats just wrong!
  11. Yeah you're telling me!, what do you guys in the US pay for 850cc plus injector over there? We are about NZ$250 each down here, ouch!
  12. Sure is, when i'm finished reading it twice over, it will take pride of place on the book shelf right next to "Maximum Boost" Hey all joking aside, lots of great tech info and calc's etc eh. Clint T
  13. Yeah from what i have read of late, way too small! Seems that maximum power is obtained at a duty cycle of between 60-70% & no more! Therefore, as an example, if you calculated that your engine requires 600cc of fuel flow per injector, then you should use 1000cc injectors, to leave plenty of head room on the duty cycle and not over work the injectors. I have been reading "Forced Induction Performance tuning" by Graham Bell, he goes into great depth with calculations for all this stuff. I have also been talking with a guy that runs a tuning shop here in NZ, he is a computer expert etc and has a RB30DET powered R32 skyline racecar, which is making 400kw at the rear wheels, he is using 1000cc injectors. Stony what size inj's have you replaced the 720's with?
  14. Stony, out of interest, what power were you making with the 720's and at what duty cycle? Clint T
