Unscrew a spark plug, put the wire back on it, touch the end of the plug to a piece of bare metal on the chassis (like sand down a nut on top of one of the struts), and crank the motor. See if you see any spark. If you're not getting spark (or if you haven't shocked yourself yet, lol), the ignition system needs work.

I was planning on running the wiring for the power lock and windows, looming it, leaving it without a fuse for when I buy those kits. I'm planning on running a stereo as well, so I thought I'd go for the 18 circuit. what about experience with the painless? is it really the kind of thing that you buy, and you get to replace all[/] the wiring in your car? as in you run the harness to the switch, and all accessories, then the only weak link in the electric system is the switchtaillightwhat have you assembly?

It's pretty simple to remove the old ones, sand the undercoating off. This will expose the spot welds. Drill through each weld, doesn't have to destroy the whole weld, just get rid of "enough" of it. Then, stick a prybar in between the rail and the car, and ream it down. It will pop any remaining weld, and rip your rail off. It will sound like a giant unzipping his pants. You could install and run megasquirt for $1000. then do whatever the sh*t you want with your l28et. 300 rwhp sound good? $1300, cause you'll need a bigger turbo. When you already have a turbo, don't swap to another straight 6 just for more power unless you're going balls out. $200 for an LC1 $150 for a v2.2 ms box $200 for wiring $200 for injectors and a fuel rail $60 for a 240sx throttle body to run the right throttle position sensor $100 for an MSD 6al box ~$300 for a holsett ~$200 for sensors you're fcking set.
