  2. How did you bump up your fuel pressure? I have a TurboSmart Fuel Pressure Regulator i just need to fit it.
  3. I'm getting around 20mpg on a L20et, with a stuffed automatic, 1 bar boost. Seems to vary alot. I think i've finally found the sweet spot for timing and sorted my idle problems out so I should use a bit less Petrol is NZD $1.76 (USD $1.10) a litre here (thats 95). How much does everyone else pay? It's going up $.06 everyday for the last week...
  4. What does the EFI harness and relay board look like? Is it difficult to make the relay board? The ECU does control the Distributor on the l20et so what do I need to do to get megasquirt to work with that. Links and help please guys. This is my next mod for my skyline and i need to get my head around it all.

  6. Am I able to splice the megasquirt loom onto a l28et loom, so that I can use the connectors on me l20et (i have a spare Loom off a l28et). I am new to megasauirt. What else do I have to hook up for it to run? And what do I need etc. A full run down would be really appreicated please. Thanks, George
  7. I had the door panel off yesterday looking at everything for ages, but i'm not sure what i should be looking at. Could you please post a pic or diagram of where the regulator is located? Thanks
  8. Hey everyone, For a few months my window has been making these chronic clunking noises when i goto close it. It only happens when its about 1 inch away from the top (of closing). The only way to get it to the top is to grab onto it when its going up and assist it by giving it a help with lifting. I had the door panel off yesterday trying to diagnose the problem but couldnt figure it out. Surely someone has some advice? Thanks, George _________________
  9. welding rod or somthing down spark plug hole and turn crank clockwise until it comes up. taht is not true tdc and it could be 180 degrees out but the mark on the crank pulleu should telll u
  10. I want to work this out. I dont like the imperial system with all its odd figures. How do i convert Litres per KM to MPG (vice versa)??
  11. WHen i start up my car the idle is crap. Really low like 400rpm. If you hold ur foot on the gas for about 30 seconds at 1000 rpm it warms up ok. I turned up the idle thinking it would sort it out, but now once it reaches operating temperature the idle goes upto about 1100rpm. I've been trying to get it right for the last week but I cant seem to sort it out.
  12. Ok guys I got my license back yesterday and i put $40 of gas in the car. I used half of it so quickly! Today i drilled a new hole in the exhaust and welded in a new fitting to put a brand new o2 sensor in. The car is performing alot better now! Still uses alot of gas on 1 bar but what doesnt! The thing about the FPR. If you can hear the fuel pump loudly from outside the car (pumping hard) does that mean the FPR could be stuffed? I never even thought of replacing mine because of fuel consumption but I'm putting an Adjustable FPR in soon (what pressure should I run?) Oh the auto in my car is 3Speed as far as i KNow. it has overdrive too.   13. I had to remove my bonnet support bar to fit my intercooler. Now the bonnet it really hard to close because the latch it locks into isnt being held straight and steady. Its a mission to close the bonnet, its impossible to do with the grill on. What do I do? The intercooler protrudes about 2 inches past the middle (where the factory bracket is). Do I just mount it next to the intercooler with a bar on the top support arm and onto the bottom of the front kit somewhere?   14. I'm getting 450kms off a tank and thats on a l20et running 95 with boost set at 13psi
  15. Yeah my tutor said as close to the turbo as possible. But alot of ppl say as close to the tb as possible. I have mounted it about 6 inches down form the tb
  16. Does anyone know how to run an ECU Disanostics on a L series fuel injected motor...and if they do, does anyone have the codes? I ask cause no one can tell me, but then i wonder why does it have a ecu screw and a l.e.d.
