My oil pump had been leaking ever since i got my car, like a year and a half ago. Noticed that the part of the head gasket (aswell as a big chunk on #6) that goes around the front cover was worn and oil was leaking from there. Also the rocker cover gasket at the front, it has like 2 inches in the front that is silicone cause the gasket broke and it leaked from there alot. And man! It went on and on and on. But now my motor is all in bits, so i've cleaned everything and replaced all the gaskets. ...i was just looking at those UV leak detector kits. what an amazing product! ive never seen anything like that in New Zealand before! I may have to start selling em

If you were pointing the spark plug anywhere other than usual, wouldnt you want to point it towards the inlet so that something...happens with combustion quicker or soemhitng?

I'm in the exact same position at the moment accept I havnt worried about doing anything to the block...Altho now that I think about it I should've done the rings, but I dont know exactly how and the motor is still in my vehicle

Ok, I got the pan to budge finally. And now I have the pain in the *** of the fuel rail brackets...

Oxygen Sensor(s) fouled and putting out a bad signal? Or incorrect EFI fuel filter? Leaking leads or coil?

I have all the bolts off the oil pan but the bloody thing wont budge. Any ideas people? Its like the seal has glued it on...

do su carbs have jets? maybe you need differet needle & seats... i did on my 2l pinto when i put 45mm dcoe sideys on it

Yep it was at 11:25 when i took it out,i even scribed a little line into the front cover. i'll be going out to arrange all this chain **** soonish, will let u all know how i go
