  1. in this video I had to re solder that loose part, it controlled voltage
  2. also look for the knock sensor threaded hole between the oil sending unit and the oil filter mount on the block.
  3. 1978 Ford Pinto. Brown of course! He was asking $100, and I talked him down to $80. Found a button later under the dash that turned out to be an "arrruga" Horn!! So cool.
  4. that is the ONE thing in my car that does not work:cry:
  5. Well thats it. You've been bit by the Z bug. Nice find, the inside looks great!
  6. I agree. I'm still running the stock cast pistons, block...etc. This is my 3rd motor. The first 2 I got crazy with timing and such. If you tune it right you can run this dog piss out of it. I made 342 at 25 lbs. but went rich at 4500 rpm so the car would not pull good past 5K rpm. I made 390 TQ. I believe I would have broken, or have gotton very close to 400 whp if it would have pulled past 6k rpm. But there again, my tune is VERY conservative. Not to mention the Holset hy35 is not the turbo to do it. This is my 2nd one, And I rebuilt this one already because the rear seal got cooked. I now run 16ish lbs, the "OL hy35 can't handle 25lbs for long I guess?
  7. we got just a bit also. I had to ride the motorcycle, left my house at 4am it was 28*F ......Please hot grips come in the mail today!!!
  8. Take a look, and listen to all Chris has done to his motor now here he is making 403whp at 17 lbs of boost Chris has done more than you'll need. His car has so much more if he turns up the boost. He made 300whp at 9 lbs of boost.
  9. Oooooo that looks good!! (booooom!)
  10. I've been looking also. I should of gotten in on the group buy. I think those were 17x9 with a neg 19 offset???
  11. its an 05 Honda CRF 50, with an 88cc kit, head, pipe, manual clutch, and rev box. It does 55 mph with my 245lb 6'3" but on it.

  17. I have yet to stop, so I still feel like I don't have a problem. J/K
  18. I'm flattered. Very nice video. From what I understand the haltech e6x is the same as the e6k (what I have now) only it is a Windows based program. I must say I like mine allot, and I think you'll like the e6x. Your car is Sooooo clean. Someday I wish to stand in your league.
  19. they make Dr. Pepper here in Texas. I never drank it until I moved down here
  20. well I can't wait to get it. I'll take some better pics and post them up so we can see what I'm working with.
  21. I was struggling with his 1 feedback rating also. He sold a TT set up for a Z32. The guy got it, and left the 1 feedback. I truly hate buying from anyone with feedback that low. What if I cut the underside of the bent pipe and added stainless to the underside? I really need to have it in my hands to see whats up. First hurdle is will it clear the steering?
  22. Mine was all there after I swapped to the stock l28et harness.
  23. I think, if you put the 12+ of the coil to the batt. it will only spark once. Your dizzy turns it on/off as needed for each cylinder. As far as almost no spark when cranking do you have the external CAS? (1981 turbo motor) or is it in the dizzy (1982-1983 motor) I had the external CAS that bit the dust on me, and had the optical pick up in the dizzy poop the bed also. Once there gone, no spark.
