There doesn't seem to be much interest in the 16x8 wheels anymore, does there?

What class was that? Wide variety of cars out there at once.

I have a very low post count because I'm not as experienced as most of you guys but when I have a question I do a search and bam, there's the answer. No need to ask a question for the millionth time. It's all pretty simple if you ask me.

Will they play on a regular DVD player or just the computer? I got a set but they only play on the computer which isn't what I wanted.

I'll take a set when that happens as long as they'll play on my regular DVD player and not just the computer.

How long do you think it'll be before somebody puts these on DVD and sells them on Ebay? I'm down for a set. So far they seem to be better than the live action movies that I bought from Owen.

I just saw the car sitting in the invitation area at Carlisle. Calling this a VERY nice car would be a gross understatement.

Put the dry ice in a large ziplock bag and bash it up into small chunks. Then you can put the bag on curved areas and it "form fits" to the irregular metal. I've done it with several cars.

So those are the 15x8 Sportmax wheels and Classic Datsun ZG flares with no spacers? Wow, that looks really good and was pretty much what I had in mind for my own car.

I'm not so worried about RWD and being a Nissan product. The dealer called me yesterday to tell me that my new Honda Fit will be arriving in the next 10 days. I should get triple the mileage I currently get in my F-150.

I had second thoughts after I cut it up. The car was complete and I drove it back from Kentucky to Pittsburgh when I bought it but the seller never could get me the title and I had some suspicious thoughts after having several convesations with him about it. In the end, the car got parted and cut up to cover my ass. As for the drifters, I posted a thread with all the pictures at club4age and nobody said too much. Of course that was a couple years ago and now the cars are way harder to find so it might cause a ruckus now.

I'm buying a new Honda Fit to be my daily driver, sticker price $15,170. It'll replace my F-150 and when I ran the numbers compaing the two I found that the Fit would almost pay for itself monthly in with the increased gas mileage and the lack of minor/major repairs I've made to the Ford habitually since I bought it. The bonus is that now I won't be working on repairing a daily driver all the time and I'll be able to actually spend time working on my Z instead. I'm also going to sell my Civic after I pick up the Fit and roll that cash back into my Z so I'll be down to a total of two road worthy cars and the funds to keep the Datsun project moving. So buying a new car does work out in favor of my Z.

The anime is suppose to be out sometime early this year. It's doubtful if they'll make subtitled DVDs but we can always hope. I have the live action movies that Owen was selling a while ago. He did a version on VHS and then again on CD-Rom and I have both sets.

You should drop a note to GRassroots Motorsports/Classic Motorsports and see if they'll do it. They have a project 240Z now and they're getting a built engine for it as part of the series.

I agree. The car never had enough styling cues that said "Z car" to me. I particularly hate the angular head and tail lights and think they'll probably look very dated in another 10 years. I also though the car should have been badged as a 350ZX but that's an argument for another day. I'll have to see the hood in person to actually judge it but it doesn't look bad in the pictures. Maybe if they rounded up the headlights a bit and went to a tail light panel with some sort of family resemblence to the earlier cars I'd warm up to it.

yes, and paint the flares black and add some bolt heads to make them look like ZGs.

Buy it now is only $7500? Hmm. I think the only thing wrong with that car is that it isn't currently sitting in my garage.
