  1. Have you already found a potential celica to purchase? I regret passing up on a 72 celica a few years back. I search the net every few months and can't seem to find any non hatch cars. If you know of any good places to look let's us know. Here's a pic of a friends car.

  4. I agree Sleeper. Do you have a timing map of yours I could take a look at? The highest timing I run is 38deg. Is that to conservative? My base timing is set at 17 deg.

I'm no expert but here are the things I would do( in order of difficulty) 1-check coolant for oil and oil for coolant 2- re-torque head bolts 3-compression test My head did the same thing once after I changed a head gasket(first time) and after a re-torque of the head bolts no more leak problem. Does the car smoke at all?
  7. Does anyone have a timing map to share that is proven for 300whp and at what psi? I'm running msII v3 on my l28et with a t3/t4. I'm still running the stock turbo cam as well. I'm currently at 260whp and 308tq at 15psi. I don't want to crank the boost to achieve the 300whp if possible because I want this thing to last a while.Thanks guys
  8. Go to Z1Motorsports.com. Click on the Znationals icon and check out the info. This event happens out in Carollton Ga at their shop once a year. I think this is the biggest z event on the East Coast.... I think they said 2000 people last year, I've been the past two years and it keeps getting better. Give me a call if you want.   10. I changed my plugs and closed the gap to .028 and now no more problems We should try to meet up sometime. There is a classic Japanese meet every third Sunday of the month in Dunwoody. Good luck with the dizzy.

  12. I just ordered those same wheels in a different color and offset about a month ago. Now after seeing your car I'm wondering if I should have gone with a more aggressive size/offset. I went with 15x9 -28 front,15x10 -28 rear... Hope I don't need spacers to fill my flares. You did a great job on the car by the way!

  14. Just had to let you know that the car looks great... Very nice build! I'm on the fence about what size wheels to run next, and your setup looks perfect. Im running 16x8 w/ spacers right now , but would like to go at least 16x9.5 with neg offset. What are the specs on your Works?
  15. Thanks for the link, but my problem was the ecu itself. I made the mistake of buying a used unit off of eBay with a no return policy...... Big mistake! I assume that people are honest, but I guess not. I ended up buying a new msII 3.0 and she fired right up! Now on to getting this thing tuned.
  16. I just recently finished up my wiring and I'm ready to try to get this thing started. I would like to check out someone's settings that has the same setup as me.if someone could post them or email them to me that would be great. I really would like to get this thing started soon and not dish out the cash to a shop to get her going. I'm running the MS1/Extra 029y4 code. Thanks guys.   17. I'm having problems with my coil/hei wiring for my 83 turbo ms1 2.2 setup. I don't seem to get a pulse when cranking the car if I put a test light to the fidle connection. I have Fidle set as spark output in megatune. Any thoughts guys? The negative side of the coil does pulse when cranking.
