Hoods fine. it does sit up in the front because i don't run the hood spring cause my intercooler is all in the way but thats not the hoods fault. It doesn't have the ledges on the side of the hood like the OEM one does so the gaps look larger than stock but they aren't.

Don't use red on anything on a datsun. Leave that for the Semi's unless you have a lot of acetylene and 02 laying around.

I think they are ultra fine if memory serves.

I usually work on the weekends too, maybe when it cools down some I'd go. Motors fine at the moment it was 713@24 on pump gas. I couldn't keep the T3 mount stable enough, so i built a grenade proof one.

Yea they do the console too. its all dry, real stuff here not just pretty.

McKinney Engine & Gearbox Mount Alignment Issues?

I think i would start by taking out those washers on the passenger side. My engine 2.70 degrees but you can tweak all these numbers, main thing is driveline angle which you can change on the differential too. For the angle of the engine i just tilted till the bottom of my oil pan was perpendicular to the frame. -

I don't think i have any pictures of it. The mickenny didn't bend but the leverage put on the stock mounting bolts bent the mounting locations. i took some rectangle tubing and came off my frame rails and went directly in line with the trans mounting bolt rather than what mckinley did. ( i understand why they did it trying to make a bolt on solution) but my r34 gtst trans is really heavy. probably would be fine with a rb20 trans. -

And a side note i would go ahead and reinforce the tranny mount cause mine bent to shit. -

Also you may have to shim the drivers side up a lot. the motor sits at a heavy slant. I think i have like 8 spacer washers under my driver side. -
Just take a string and wrap it around. Measure how long the string is and how many ribs it is, any parts store will have it.

I don't have it pictured but i drilled and tapped the rear and front so i can do exactly that with some helms joints and a bar. T3 does have what they call a "Dog bone bar" or something like that which does the same thing, but slightly lower than the mustache bar if you look close you can see it in this picture, its black. I have 1/2" helms joints and 1" round aluminum bar I'm gonna use to make the bars.

Your gonna love that snail with the stroker i bet. I would like to go sequential too, but can't justify it at the moment. keep us posted. Looks good man.

This one is very car specific, like .0020 thousands tolerances, thats why its been taking me so long, ha.

Haven't had much time to work on it, but slowly making some progress. Turning out well i think. I decided not to make it all one piece, it will be 3 piece with a removable cross brace and i might put an adjustable helms on the rear part just cause i have some helms joints laying around.
