    hey guys has anyone moved their fill neck to behind the license plate. i might end up putting a fuel cell so it might not be a big deal, but if i leave in the stocker i would like to see your mods. want to shave that ugly door off.

    yea was thinking about making them removable by welding triangles mounting tabs in the corners and drilling a mounting hole in those... but then i dont want it to rattle either... my frame looks alot like this.. this is 74_5.0l_z car

    Hey guys, im at the point where i need to start putting up sheet metal on my front engine compartment that i made out of tubing ( totally cut off the front of the stock car). i was just going to start doing it out of sheet metal but im curious of what you guys are doing if anything different.

    yea the guy that replyed seemed to infer they are all the same just id is differnt so i would imagine it would work... jon- no that wasnt me on the phone, i think i did pm you though, mainly because i am a retard and my setup will change alot so i dont want to run out of travel.

    i have the equipment to do it, thanks for the offer though... i wouldnt think that would be a big deal maybe i will buy one and try it. im just worrying that that might make it to thin. my rears dialed int at 2.168 granted paint is probably the difference.

    Hey guys has anyone tried boring one of these sleeves for the 280z diameter. i just emailed the people but i dont know if i will get any measurements or anything out of them. they say its a 6.5" sleeve with a 2.1 I.D I am trying to find a sleeve that is longer than 5" for the 280z http://shop.a1racing.com/cok12457-tk.aspx

    will any of those collars he has fit the 280z strut housings, perferabably the 8"

    make sure your tip is sharp at all times (steel) and rounded for aluminum. the tip of the electrode should be out of the cup about 1/3- 1/4 inch. try locking in the amps so you can just floor the remote until you get the hang of adding the filler.
