I am definatly not the best as far as grammer goes. I do try, and read posts several times trying to fake it. Being new to the technical side of cars, I tend to get confused sometimes. I really appreciate it when the information is put together clearly. Even I don't understand all the info, at least I can read it and come back to it when I do.

Most people give thier cars girl names and then say "she" has some major balls. ??? No wonder these cars give so many probs, they are the most confused 30yr olds ever.

Here's my ideas. Got most the inspiration from Eleanor & the GT500. Trying for the "if Shelby made a Z" look. There is definately muscle car in these bueaties.

Whatever it would cost would be worth it. To have a car built by Foose would be heaven on earth. Everything he touches turns to gold.

When I started sanding my 280 the body looked real nice. The passenger rear was good to the metal, then the suprise at the door. The sander grabbed and went in deep. There was at least 2" of bondo covering a nasty dent. I still don't know if I want to try and pound out the dent or look for a better door.

I would like to get the 240z fiberglass bumper for the lighter weight. For the look I am goin' for, I need them to be chrome. I there a way to chrome fiberglass? Or would it make sence to just get the steel bumper?

Thanks for the response. It's nice to know that others like the look too. I've never done any body work or fiberglass before so this should be interesting.

You're right, the GT500 is where a lot of ideas came from. I want my z to have a muscle car feel so I used my favorite for inspiration. I am working on a front 3/4 view as I'm typing, so it should be done today or tomorrow.

It's goin on a '78 280z. I want my z to stand out among others and I think this will do the trick and not be over the top.
