    jknc90, Thanks man, I hope it turns out as well as I see it in my head. For your car, have you thought about putting a Pantera hatch on there with the targa top? That could somewhat seal the area and look pretty good.

    These are some drawings I've had hangin around for well over a year. I love the idea of a Shelby inspired Z. Once it's done it'll be metalic midnight blue with dark charcoal le mans stripes. Now, I know these aren't the best drawings on here but if I can pull off the bodywork and paint on the real thing... it may rival some of them. gb20

    Ernie- I, like many others have been fairly silent for the time I have been a member, but have always looked foward to your posts. They have helped get me going in the right direction. I know I will continue to search your posts for what I need to know when it comes to paint. Thanks for all you have done for this great site. May the universe smile on all you do. gb20

    Dude, go to Pep Boys and go into the "ricer" section. They have that same stuff for about $50. Should be plenty for a grill.

    Could you just swap out the whole tail light panel? That sounds easier than moddifying the 240 one.

    ed260z, How was the install on that harness? Would upgrading the harness improve the brightness?

    Totally just plug and play. They plug into the original harness just like the stock lights do.

    Been driving every night with these and they are definatly worth the $. It's nice to be able to see further than 10ft in front of the car.

    I personally like the hood pin look. Gives more of a muscle car feel. The dzues just don't fit my vision well.

    Dragonfly, What hood pins are those and how did you mount them? Any pics?

    Did a search for Z performance in the hopes that my parents would get me one for my 17th b-day. That was a few years ago and have started to ask questions. My wife now tells me I'm addicted to the site and I spend more time with hybridz then I do with her. In all fairness, I was with the Z before I ever met her.

    I've got Farmers insurance. They would only insure my Z for $2-3000 unless I get it appraised. I'll wait for that until after I turn 25. Until then, I'm happy with my rates.

    When I got my Z my wife and I were paying $400 to insure her Rodeo. After putting my car the policy, we pay $300 total. So in fact, my Z's insurance is -$100.

    Went for a short drive last night and these lights are much better. I could see much further than before. If you want a decent upgrade on the candle lights that are in these cars, go with these. They are inexpensive, easy to install, and did I mention I could see the road.

    Haven't had a chance to check them out from a distance yet, but with both bulbs in, they are still yellowish. Still so much better than stock. How would I go about doing the HID, and how much should I expect to pay for it?

    Not quite the projection lights often drooled over, but much better than what I started with. These are the h4 lights from datsunrestore.com (about $80). The light coming out of these is much whiter as you can see in the pics. Just did one today so I could get you guys the comparison shot. Money shot! The new one is the driver side, in case you were'nt sure.
