  1. Goth, what junk yards have Z's around here? I may have to pick up a cover and try this. gb20
  2. Is that spoiler available yet? I'm really likin' that one.
  3. '74 260. Is your z the one without a license plate? I drove through today and saw it.
  4. My 280 was fine up there for years. Just don't follow the snow plows and you'll be fine. Ah, to be in Vegas.
  5. Goth, my bro actually lives in those same apts. He has the white convertable Salleen mustang.
  6. Oh by the way, it's fiberglass, I got it from MSA and paid $185 total. gb20
  7. Hey Gothalosism, that's just around the corner. My bro lives in the apartments just behind you. The car is pretty simple right now, but like everyone else, I have plans. We'll see how long it takes to do more to it. gb20
  8. Some pics of the dam on the car. You may notice I need to lower the car by about 3in to get everything to look right. Not too bad huh? gb20
  9. I'm in north vegas, just off MLK and Cheyenne. Where you guys at? Why don't I see more Z's around here? By the way, I got the air dam on. I should have some pics up tomorrow.
  10. It's pouring outside right now:cry: so hopefully tomorrow.
  11. Pretty simple really. Sanded the part until all the extra resin was gone, plus a few very small pits. Used 120 grit. Sanded up to 400 4 light coats of black primer 5-6 coats dark blue dupli-color 1 mist coat of their silver metal speck 3 cans worth of clear, applied in light coats Painted with 10min in between coats. Only took a few hours to do the paint. Wet sanded with 1000, then 2000. polished with meguires fine cut cleaner. I think I will do my hood like this next weekend.
  12. Got my air dam a few weeks ago and painted it yesterday. Got it all pollished up today. For being my first time painting anything, and using rattle can dupli-color paint, I'm plenty happy. I don't drink so I made do with a rockstar.
  13. Mustangs refer to them as tonneau covers. gb20
  14. My dad would stick all 4 of us in the back of his 260. We thought it was great fun and had plenty of room. I still can't figure out how that car shrank so much over the years. gb20
  15. I.C.E.= ice, compression, elevation. Keeping it warm will only cause more pain and swelling. Glad you were able to make it through the day, and get a lot done. If only it were the glorious relations that set the tone for the day instead.
  16. I did some searching last night and this morning, and I think I have decided to go with the painless 18 circuit wiring harness. After looking around at the wires in the car, there are so many of them that are barely hanging on (chared, broken, loose hanging, ect.), I think it will save a lot of time and frustration in the future. I know painless has been covered many times in here, but if anyone has any tips for doing this, that would be great. Oh, by the way, wiring is completely new for me. I'm totally freaked out about redoing the whole thing, but it should be a great learning experience. gb20
  17. When I say everything, it's the whole electrical system, the engine, everything. The clicking is coming from under the passenger dash. I know there are relays on the other side of the firewall there so I'll check those out and see what I see. I think I may just get a new electrical system put in with my tax return. Thanks for all the help guys. gb20
