I heard it's more "one of a kind" since it was a group of artists letting out steam from working on serious anime's for too long.... I think it's one of the craziest series out there. I've watched it like 6 times, and every time you notice something new.... Oh, and the director commentary is hilarious! I rarely even watch tv anymore... damn college. Don't know Elfen Lied. The english version of Naruto ruined it for me... I used to read the manga. Don't know Gunslinger Girls... Rorouni Kenshin is ok but I love the movies! Some of them are so much like the old Japanese samurai movies which I love so much (Seven Samurai, the Zatoichi serious, and others) Never got into Bleach, didn't know they made it into an anime. I think Inuyasha isreally lame. It's too annoying/repetetive. My sis loves it though... NGE is one of my facorite series of all time... even though I haven't seen a lot of the middle episodes.... What I really like: FLCL/Fooly Cooley/Furi Kuri. God that series is so sweet! Only 6 eps though.... Hellsing... even though it doesn't follow the manga. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is sweet!!! Huge Gundam fan, mostly Gundam Wing and 08th MS team. I like some of the weirder stuff like Kikaider and some others. Anime movies are sweet! Metropolis, Akira, and all of the Miyazaki films. Real life movies, all the Zatoichi movies (new and old) I like, and I think Versus is one of the coolest action movies ever.... That's it in a nutshell I think.... probably forgetting lots.... Mario

Considering it's 2 straps and like 5 hoses, dropping it and having it redone by a shop is not a bad idea. You can even do it yourself with a kit the POR-15 offers and some Muratic Acid. Mario

Just use ignition option to the ones here: http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/setup-msns.html It is the one in the sticky, I guess now it's called "distributor mode". The HEI just controls dwell in this case, the CAS provides RPM input to the MS box if I remember correctly. Spark output should be set to FIDLE or LED17, depending on whether you wired it to retain the FIDLE circuit or not. You can download the firmware from the page above, I would get the stable release, but some people like the experimentals (more features). Mario

I know MSnS-E HATES it when you set up base values without it plugged in at least INITIALY. It has happened to me and 1 fast Z, all you have to do is reburn the MSnS code on it, hook up your laptop, and do an initial edit with the MS box hooked up and turned on. After that time you should be able to edit at home then plug in and burn. Mine would reset trigger angle and some other stuff, 1 fast Z's would do some other weird crap. Mario

With a WBO2 gauge, you can lean it out as much as your motor will tolerate. I believe 1 fast Z used to run +16:1 afrs (maybe even 18:1, don't remember...) during cruise, and averaged high 20's low 30's highway on a modified engine. It will probably spike BAD. Guess we won't know till you try it, but there is significant lag for the wastegate flapper to open since it won't be seeing boost at all due to the solenoid. All of the EBC (I think) use PWM with the solenoid so that it doesn't seem fully closed all the time. For overboost protection, just use a pop-off valve. Mario

There is a significant difference in pedal pressure, but it isn't bad. I know a few people on here got rid of it. I got to drive 1 fast Z's 280z without the booster and the car stopped just fine. Like I said, there is a difference, but it isn't bad. I'll probably do it when my booster craps out. Mario

How far does it extend? If you seal up the front, don't you need some vents to vent the pressure at the firewall? Tony D posted some pics of Z hoods bowing up due to pressure. Looks sweet though! Mario

280zxt - Wideband getting ordered soon (14mpg city....), all urethane bushings at home, other minor tweaks to MSnS. Dent free hood and door on hand, dad's hoping to respray it soon. Also possibly adding quick release wheel and more modern seats. 280z - Full suspension rebuild this summer, full rewire, MS getting installed. Haven't decided on whether to go FI or hot NA. 280zx NA - Daily driver status, nothing major being done. Possible projects: 1969 1600 Fairlady Roadster. Needs carb work supposedly, eventually gonna swap in an engine, thinking SR20DE. Pretty sure we're buying it... Mario
