Got tired of fighting with the turn signal lever to get the blinkers to activate. Worked on the OEM switch so many times that the circuit board finally broke. Here is an awesome repair solution.

Hello guys I have a 77 280z and when I went to start it today I got nothing. I have a new battery, new distributor, new alternator and a year old voltage regulator. I have lights in my dash and dome light. Head lights are nice and bright. When I turn the key I get nothing. I usually have a beep when I turn the key. I went and replaced the back part of the ignition today and still nothing with the new one. I will take the whole assembly to locksmith and see if it's the cylinder or what. Can anyone shed some light on what else to check?

Hi Everyone, Long time reader first time poster. I have been looking rather exhaustively in my home country (Australia) for an original condition dash harness including lower console harness, radio harness and hazard light harness & switch to suit my 1975 260Z (280Z for you guys). Here is a photo of the harnesses that I'm after: From what I can find online any LHD 280Z harness should be suitable for my needs but my preference would be for harnesses out of a 1975 280Z if possible for continuity sake. I can pay in cash or I have a spare pair of 260/280Z "Euro" tail lights in good condition (with wiring) I could trade as a part exchange. Parts for these cars are becoming extremely hard to come by over here so any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm pretty desperate! Thanks, Alex

Before rewiring basically everything, I am making a switch panel to control all of my circuits. I am also making a panel of circuit breakers in the glove box with maybe a battery shut off switch also. Here is the plan so far: Top buttons - Headlights, tail lights, Interior lights (if I ever get one) Middle area - push button start, ignition power Lower area - Fuel pump, Radiator fan, not sure what else I will post the final results soon. Any suggestions on how to divide my lighting circuits? or for the panel? I was going to do the left separate from the right side, same as the stock fusebox. FYI - Its for a 71 240z with a 350 chevy. I have no wipers, heater, or AC

So somewhere along the life of my s130, someone lost the keys. The ignition switch is messed up now from a PO using a screw driver to turn it to the on position, and there is a flip switch for the starter. Anyways, i bought a universal ignition switch from autozone, i tried to wire it up but just couldn't seem to get it. The blue plug that plugs into the original ignition, i found the battery wireand the starter wires, but can't seem to get it to where when the key is in the on position or acc to get anything to happen. Just wondering if anyone else installed one before and could help me in doing mine. I need the wiring diagram for the ignition. I looked in the FSM but it wasn't any help. Thanks again! I would really like to be able to use a key instead of a screw driver and flip switch
