Tony D
There was a sequential adapter for the GTR Gearbox in Australia or Japan fit to the normal transmission. NEAT concept and warranty was lifetime.

mutantZ
How do they compare with the Quaife units? I've only ever heard of race cars with them (quaife). http://quaife.co.uk/shop/products/qbe60g-
Tony D
No I don't think that was it, but pricing is similar. Putting an S15 tranny in a Z and Sequential Shifter....mmmmmmmmmmmm....
260DET
Don't know what pricing is like in the US but in the continent below the equator the TTI box is the cheapest by a fair margin. Sequential adaptors on stock boxes have a bad rep around here, they basically are not used. Of all the things I would like for a circuit car a good sequential would be #1, well, maybe an auto too. For an amateur an auto may work out better seeing that the aim is to reduce the work load to concentrate on the important things. Like not banging into stuff. Note that the TTI is a dog box, no syncro, dog clutch engagement for each gear. Like a motorcycle. johnc
I dont think you can run a sequential shifter on a trans with traditional synchrod. I think it has to be a dog box. I ran a Quaiffe Sierra sequential in my racing 240z. Wonderful! It was about $7,900 back in 2002.
HowlerMonkey
The toyota MR2 has a "sequential manual" box but it's simply a corolla/celica box that has servos to do the shifting and clutch. It's not really "sequential" as you see in motorcycle or racing car boxes.
