JSM 17 Posted November 24, 2017 (edited) I enjoyed watching the chunks of rubber sliding back and forth on the floor. That's what it looked like to me. It seemed really smooth, were you pushing it? Edited November 24, 2017 by JSM
rturbo 930 31 Posted November 24, 2017 Maybe I'm mistaken, did you not have a manually shifted (paddle shifted?) automatic in there? I guess that setup didn't work out. About how much power? What does it weigh? Looks pretty damn quick.
260DET 29 Posted November 24, 2017 Not my car guys although I have followed it's back yard type development for a few years, he (Phil) is going pretty fast there but not on the limit. I do have a auto V8 280ZX but had a minor incident at the same meeting which slowed me down. Phil blew a couple of R200 diffs last year hence the 9", the year before it was engine lube problems. 260DET 29 Posted December 1, 2017 Well I think that car sounds gorgeous, the engine, the transmission, the whole combination, so much better than the sanitised 'sports' pretend race cars the makers want to sell us.
turbogrill 0 Posted December 21, 2017 Wow! What kind of engine is it? I also have a 280zx....I can out drag Miatas....not so much GT3s....:)
SleeperZ 6 Posted December 23, 2017 I'm curious too, I see at the beginning of the video it has a Chevy LS engine, but OMG that car has some balls.
260DET 29 Posted December 23, 2017 Don't know the details but it's naturally aspirated, nothing very special in capacity. Pretty light car too and quick through the corners.
