Drax240z
A little drag race action... no contest. http://www.olypen.com/bulldog/movies.html/F350Run.wmv
JMortensen
I couldn't believe those stories when I first heard about them. Powerstrokes with 750 hp and 1100 ft/lb torque and crap like that. Propane injection, huge turbos, just crazy stuff. It's nice to finally see a video. You gotta wonder how many transmissions and axles those guys are going through... Looks like the hot drag tire setup may be a BFG All Terrain!!! Front and back!!! Thanks Drax. Jon
Guest BigWhyteDude
didnt know those beast could get up and go like that. Wow. that is freakin amazing. Why was it blowing so much black smoke out or the exaust??????? Andrew
JMortensen
Because its a diesel. That's just what they do. Jon
David K
You gotta wonder how many transmissions and axles those guys are going through... Probably none. Those huge trucks are designed for towing huge things.

Heavy Z
Still ANOTHER reason to drop a diesel into a Z.
dot
Hey BigWhyteDude: In northern Quebec the lumber trucks race up the mountain. A wound up diesel billows out an enormous amount of smoke…"it’s just what they do"… For more pics on this party check out the link http://www.elrodeo.com/album/album_en.cfm?categorie=2003
z-REX
good LORD!!!!!! i saw a show on spike the other day where they built a duramax to 900 ft/lbs without even touching the turbo. it had nos, propane, a chip, and exhaust. damn. that one might be my next project!!!! Racin_Jason
I drive a lifted F150 right now and miss having a fast daily driver. I read about these built diesals and it sounded intrigueing. I mean...hell, I can tow my race car, haul lumber, have plenty of seating for 4 AND RUN 12s? Sounds like a dream come true...til you have to STOP. I'll keep my F150 for now.. PETEW
A buddy of mine has a Dodge Cummins. He did some work to it and now it puts more than 350RWHP and 900ft/lb of torque. He took me for a ride in it and needless to say it hauls ass. He said it will whip up on his M3. You should see the smoke screen that thing lays. Diesels just dump so much fuel that I guess they can't burn it all. Pretty funny looking at peoples faces behind you.
z-REX
i'm getting really evil thoughts....
80LS1T
Well if that wont make you think twice about racing the next diesel that pulls up to you at a stop light nothing will! 11.42@118mph Wowwwwwwwww! I bet that RX7 never saw that one coming! LOL Guy
Drax240z
The scary part of the whole equation is that he could be towing the RX7 on a trailer and probably still pull high 11's.
stony
hi power diesels smoke like becasue of the amount of fuel being dumped in the motor.
JMortensen
My buddy's diesel rabbit smoked like Cheech and Chong, and it was putting out all of 45hp. I think it has to do with the fuel more than anything else. Jon
