Greywolf
I'm planning on urethane suspension, light build of the L28 (I have an '82 non-turbo), silver paint with a black center stripe and trim, and mild body kit/blending to make the bumpers stand out less. I will probably do something to the taillight area, but I haven't decided yet. This car will be less radical than my S30, because I want it to be a decent daily driver, good mileage, "take the t-tops out and go on a date" sort of car. It also might turn out to be a birthday present to my dad...no one tell. Ben

b__sosick
i have an 82 280zx with a bunch of body junk on it that some people call a body kit. haha. She has 16" wheels. with 245/45 tires, Ground Control 7 way adjustables in the rear, and a turbo xs blow off valve. I'm eventually going to use a VR4 intercooler and using a 3 in straight pipe exhaust. also neon lights asap. :]
KTM-EXC
I have an 83' that I just had to replace most all of the body panels on and then I just painted it too. Now I am starting to modify it, NPR intercooler, boost controller, 2.5inch Downpipe and some other things. I have a lot of plans for it in the future

rwdawg2
where are all of you guys getting your coilovers and for how much. if it isn't that hard to build i would like a little insight on that. thanks guys and everyones s130 sounds awsome i just get sick and tired of hearing about everyones crazy S30 and how you can do this and do that while i am in the corner wondering how the hell am i suppose to work on my s130 when all everyone ever talks about is an s30. it seems to me there needs to be an s130 section so that way no one will be confused on what car you can do what on. but that is just my opinion. anyways thanks and look forward to hearing from some other guys. KTM-EXC
The boost controller on my car is a grainger style manual boost controller that only set me back about $40. I couldn't justify the extra cost of an Electronic one, but they do have their benefits. As far as the Coilovers go I know Modern Moterspports sells them for the rear(not sure about the front) But if you call Techno Toy Tuning they can make you some, but coilovers are going to be expensive, a good amount over $1,000. I am about to order all my suspension stuff, Cusco strut bars, Sway bars and because money is tight I will probably end up going with Tockico springs and shocks(only $350 shipped). My personal opinion is that if we had a S130 section it would be dead, maybe it would work though?? Zdriver.com has a pretty could 280zx forum but there really isn't too much tech talk over there, but it is still a real good site. And besides the S130 and S30's have a lot of similairities. 260DET
Here are a couple of sites where the S130 has been worked over a bit http://www.datsun-280zx-lt1.com/ http://www.angelfire.com/extreme/280zxt/ Have been trying to get a S130 two seater for about six months, not easy when Nissan AU never brought any in. Got a few serious mods planned too, including five stud 16 x 10" wheels all round, so its quite frustrating.
spork
Here's a link to a page on my car. http://www2.nissanofwichita.com:8080/website/NissanOfTheMonth.htm There have been some changes since this article (or you can check out my car in Sport Z Magazine in the fall 2005 issue. The biggest changes to the car were an upgraded cam and springs, along with some head porting and one of my companies intake manifolds. I only made 3 passes or so at the track before I burned up a sprakplug wire. All 3 were on street tires and the first 2 I was onl low boost. The 3rd run I went12.08@125 (bogged it off the line horribly).

bradz240
I'm in the process of redoing the interior of my '83zx, new carpet, foil back insulation and z31 power seats. David K What did you do to get 5x4.5 lugs and z32 brakes? How much of a hassle was it?
jp 280
Well i seem to go backwards more at the moment then forward with my project, so hopefully i can make some good progress this year, below are some of what i have done so far, well more like what i have brought as the car is still basically a bare shell. Willwood front brakes with 12.75" rotors, Koni fully adjustable coil overs all round, urathane bushes for everywhere, Racetech 4000 race seats, Trust/greddy egt, boost and temp gauges, Trust/greddy 100mm thick intercooler, Trust/greddy type R B.O.V, Trust/greddy type R waste gate, Trust/greddy stainless manifold, Garrett GT3540 turbo. This year i have to get the body work done and get it rolling on some new wheels, so maybe that could be my new years resolution. haha
