Dragonfly
I have seen a few of the cars on here using the same vents that I am using on my Z but I have not seen anyone else blend the vent into the fender. Here is a picture of mine blended in. Ignore the hood as it is an old beat up hood that I could not even give away so I decided to use it for setting my spray pattern for paint. 260DET
Yeh, looks a bit modern, relatively. Depends of course on what look you want, lotsa personal taste too. My vents were welded in, did this about 9 years ago and still like it.
280Zone
I have the same vents but choose not to mold in just yet. Maybe when some other projects get done I will.
SHO-Z
Camaro fender vent molded in. The plastic to metal bonding was a real problem until I glassed in the back side with fiber filler and used flexible body filler on the outside.

Yours was one of the first ones I remember seeing and I was suprised that it was not molded in, and is a damn good looking Z molded in or not. The other pictures of Z's with vents molded in look great. I hope when mine is painted it will look as good. Dragonfly
speeder
Check my sig pics for the Reaction Research vents molded into the fiberglass fenders. Lots easier to do when everything's fiberglass.
Cruez
Fender vents look great on Z's I've wanted to put a set on mine, but I cringe when I think about cutting up a decent fender
Corzette
Mine were from a 1978 Z28.
Datsun350Z
Mine are similar also. Molded in the fender. Start the bodywork next week. It Might even start to look like a real car. I have a few extra vents laying around, trying to figure out if there is anywhere I can use them without looking like I hooked up my car at Pep Boys.
